This is the best I could explain it along with a screenshot, please help me I feel like i've wasted 42 hours as I didn't even complete it yet. I was trying to mod my game and I accidently moved all these files into a new folder then realised I didnt copy them so I moved them back into this folder and they no longer load in game

Sorry if this is in wrong section of the forums this is my first post.

The files are in the right folder and haven't been messed with but  when I load dragon age origins ( through steam) it just says New game and load game is greyed out :/

i think the files are in the wrong map.
on my regular pc game its different. 
i take it your chars are aedan and leonardo?
Make a new map in the characters map called aedan and one called leonardo
move the aedan files that are now in your characters map to the aedan map,
and the leonardo files to the leonardo map.

since you have just one save map i dont know to wich char map they belong.
If they are aedan saves then put the saves map in the aedan map if they are leonardo the leonardo map.
(open a save map to see what the files in there are called)

Think it should work then.

As ruudg said, make a folder. The folder should have the character name (eg Aedan). In this folder will be the character portrait (eg Aedan_portrait.jpg), a jpg file showing the full size character (eg Aedan.jpg), an XML file that describes the character (eg Aedan.xml), and a folder named SAVES.

The SAVES folder will have the games saves for that character only. I see that there is only one SAVES folder, so there is probably an issue - files may be combined or even overwritten. Would you have a backup?

Well I got it working now I created a folder for the character, but now randomly Leliana is not wearing any armor and the dwarf guards (at the deep roads) also are not wearing any armor and are just naked basically, any fix to this now >.>?

Are you using any mods?
Also make sure all your DLCs are loading, and authenticated.

mods would be my first thought to.

Else maybe start a new game and see if everything is ok then.(deep roads is a long way away then)
