1) Fix the weapon lay outs in cut scenes!
2) Get rid of Kai Leng's sword in the cinematic and (this is cheating I guess) in fights. Have him snipe Thane, or have Thane jump in front of the Salarian councilor in a similar matter to his wife, or something so that these scenes don't feel super forced. Make the Kai Leng fights class dependent and the fighting style changes to counter Shepard's class (for example: against Vanguards Kai Leng fights from an unreachable platform, he hacks drones against Engineers, etc.)
3) Femshep's movements.
4) Make the space battles closer to the Codex descriptions.
5) Priority: Earth stuff. One simple thing that could have been added to make the scene stronger, in my opinion, is to have the fleet commanders of the various fleets and noticeable ships (Destiny Ascension, Volus dreadnought, etc) call in their arrival instead of Joker.
Cinematic changes you would've made

You're missing the worst part: shooting at Leng from the inside of the car.
I gotta give Shepard a pass on that one, unless every windscreen in the MEU is known to be bulletproof.

No stargazer scene. Just take that off.
Showing that scene incredibly limits the developers on the setting for ME4 - as if they weren't limited enough already. Besides, it wasn't even necessary.
If you saw the whole ending with EC, then you'd see that they did rebuild. Everything was back the way it was - mostly. Now it just suddenly shows these 2 people talking about "The Shepard" as if it was some kind of myth. Why couldn't they just presented fully functioning civilizations or named characters living peaceful lives?

I agree with your ideas. The only thing I would add is to show a greater variety of ships during the battle. 90% of all the ships are Alliance, with a few timely placed ships from other species. It felt too much like ''Humanity is the boss and all of these other races are insignificant'' rather then '' A galactic armada from every corner of the galaxy''

The too much emphasis on the kid in various cutscenes. I would have been just as saddened to see any civilians/soldiers get blasted out of the sky by the reapers. The dream sequences are also annoying. I would have had more fun chasing after a sprinting volus.

I'd have replaced the AI appearing as the kid with apparitions of Shepard's fallen comrades (ala Leviathans). Plenty of guaranteed candidates by then (Thane, Ashley/Kaidan, Anderson, Legion, Wrex/Mordin), plus way more symbolism/manipulation to draw on during the conversation.

Start at frame one. Work your way to the end. Self-explanatory.
(No, it's not Marauder Shields. Yes, it's short).
