I haven't decided whether to by DA:I, yet, but romances will not be the determining factor, either way.

At this point, it will be what people have to say about it who've actually played the whole thing through.

If the romances are well done, I'll enjoy that element.

Yes. I bought DAO AND got pretty deep into it before I even knew romances were a part of it. The romances are just extra for me. I love them but I can do without them, too.

I would be disappointed because I believe romance can add a little something to the story.

HOWEVER, I would still buy the game. I have several PTs where my characters don't have a romance interest, and the game was still great.

Err to actually answer the question posed in this thread: yes, I would still buy the game. While the romance does add flare to the game, it's never really the reason I buy a game. Besides, in DA games you're unlikely to ever play the Warden or Hawke again in the next game so the romance of it doesn't have the same effect as ME games did since you played Shepard for three games instead of just one. I am not saying I didn't like the romance in DA games. I'm just saying I would still buy DA:I even if it had none in it.
