At this point, I had to know what I was doing.
I trusted her. She trusted me. We'd been together for a few months, pushing each other, testing the limits and boundaries of every position. No matter how hard it seemed, we stood in defiance, our legacy erected by our strength on the battlefield. There was no better match in the universe....but there was something keeping us from going over the top.
In order to give her everything, I had to take away something.
It meant taking a huge risk. It was the safety net that allowed us to be reckless; what normally numbed the heat and stopped incoming sprays before they penetrated too deep would be taken away.  We would need to know when to pull out long before the heat was on us. The fire, the explosions would become much more intense and as such, I was unable to stand tall as long as I had in the past.
But as she went down, I found the will to rise again, driven by the sight of her kneeling before me. And as she rose and our eyes met, I felt strengthened, knowing that she entrusted me with her entire being. And thus, I trusted her in return.
Revitalized, we battled onward. Eagerly, she once again took the rifle. Squeezing it tightly she exhausted its reserves repeatedly, but we never relented, continuously pounding away, her power amplified by our newfound trust, my resolve stabilized as I watched her gracefully wield the fiery weapon, our energy fueled only by adrenaline after seemingly endless waves of onslaught.
Finally, the end was upon us, and as the heat of battle scorched our flesh, the time to pull out was ripe. As we narrowly escaped the stray discharges, I watched proudly as a final aerial bombardment descended, marking a happy ending to our adventure.

So....when did you stop using Cyclonics?

I stopped using cyclonics when i ran out of them

which is to say, never.

I know it's dangerous but it just feels better without them.

I agree! I wish I'd tried it sooner.

Mrah ha ha! Good one.

OT, I only use cyclonics on the less agile kits, so I don't have to worry about extracting, and can concentrate on pounding the enemy right up until the end.

The more agile kit's use consumables to increase the power of their strikes, how quick they go at it, or their recovery speed, depending on the kit.

Making sure what you're putting on is a good fit is important, otherwise you can end up in a right mess.

Still use them but not quite as much as I used to. I often find Adrenaline/ Power Amplifier Modules better for the characters that I tend to use.

For some time now, I only use cyclonics on weapon platforms that have high shields in the first place (Juggernaut, Krogans, Batarians, sometimes Turians), allowing them to hang around in the open for longer. Anything with human or less shields gets something else.

It's always amusing to see PUG vorcha with cyclonics. 1.6 times pretty much nothing is still pretty much nothing.

Still use them quite a bit (kit dependent), but that has more to do with issues I have off-host, which is around 99% of the time.

I use them on my Ascension Stance Collector, Asari Justicar, Turian Havoc, Melee/Javelin GI, Krogan Warlord, Talon Merc off host and N7 Fury off host. (If the host is good then I can just use my usual Adrenaline Mod on the Talon and Power Amp on the N7 Fury.)

I rarely use them, sometimes it better to just trust in your own ability!

Took me a while, but it's such a liberating feeling to be able to go in without any extra layers!

In my case, I didn't start using cyclonics until later in the process.

I tended to use a lot of Power Efficiency and Power Amps.

I actually had a pretty big surplus of Cyclonics back in March ('13) until I started trying to get my first Gold Solo. Then I burned through most of them.

I've been moving away from them again recently, and using Adrenaline and Cells more.

Adrenaline is better anyways. Unless you have DR or hellaciously high shields you're screwed anyways especially with Cerberus or Collectors on higher difficulties. I always try to play to my character's strengths.

I use Power Cells, so as soon as it's down it's right back up again.
