Hey! So I'm starting my No-deaths playthrough soon, and I'm wondering what the hardest fights (in your opinion) would be? I'd just like to know so I can include a video of those particular fights, since in my previous videos I included some really easy fights for no reason, and I want to narrow it down. <_<

In ME1 I think the hardest fights would be:

- Krogan Battlemaster at the end of Therum
- Benezia
- Jax (a sidequest in the citadel)
- First encounter with Saren
- The Turian in Wrex' family armor quest (can't remember his name)

Of course the choices could vary depending on class, but I'm playing as an Engineer and I think those fights would be quite the challange.

Your thoughts? Include the hardest fight of ME2 and 3, if you want. ;)

Insanity is what I always play on. Doesn't really matter. If you found it hard on Regular, you can still tell us! :D

My picks:
- The two Turians at Chora's den (new games only)
- Krogan Battlemaster on Therum. You had one job Kaidan, one job and you blew it!
- Benezia. I actually had this fight glitch a few times on first wave, where she put me in Stasis and then my squadmates killed the last enemy right after, which prevented me from moving after the cutscene.
- UNC: Hostage. So many biotics.... I usually just try to cheese the fight now and funnel them to the door.
- That one freighter with all the husks. Even Immunity cannot save you if you get too close.

Tonn Actus (Wrex's family armor) is not that hard for most classes depending on how early or late you do it. I never have problems with Saren, although those few Krogan on the other side of the door (just after the other Earthling starts to arm the bomb) have given me trouble.

I have fought Jax a few times. It was toughest as an Engineer. Biotics made it laughable because,... ME1 biotics. Usually I have enough Charm/Intimidate to persuade him though.

UNC: Espionage Probe (Insanity, non-soldier/infiltrator)

I Seem to die at the end of that mission during every play through myself. Usually have to go even slower than I normally care for, and take out baddies one at a time from range. Can't rush into mid range, where I'm more comfortable. Distance is too great from top of cliff to any kind of cover, and there are crack shot baddies all over the place. Its not an overly exciting fight since your forced to snipe, retreat, snipe, retreat(repeat x 50).

Even when being cautious, if/when I get hit by 2 enemy snipers in relative quick succession, Shep dies.

Yeah that Hostage situation is a pain in the butt, especially if you want to save the hostages. Renegades have it slightly easier, heh. :P

The freighter with the husks is Garrus' mission, is it not? With doctor Heart? Yeah that'd be really hard without biotics, I think! Careful use of melee to knock them back would be a necessity, I'd assume.

The two turian assasins in front of Chora's Den are pretty random; sometimes they just charge at you, in which case it's pretty much game over unless you got a handy Throw or Lift available, and sometimes they just stand back, which makes them pretty easy to kill.=]

I don't think you need any Charm or Intimidate with Jax; you can just give him the mods or try to arrest him, which always leads to a fight. :police:

No, that mission is basically against Throrian Creepers, except they are called Test Subjects or something.

The one I am thinking of is the freighter where all the boxes are stacked so you have really narrow passageways to walk through, and the husks magically appear out of thin air in front of you just inside their Area of Attack range. If you have no biotics you are screwed.

Garrus's mission is pretty wide-open so you can just circle around everything until everything is dead.

Oh right. I have fought that a few times and I do not recall it being difficult. Maybe that was before i started playing on Insanity. The one I was thinking of was the Krogan supposedly working for Banes that was blackmailing Dr. Michel.

The freighter filled with Husks is called UNC: Derelict Freighter, not to be confused with UNC: Lost Freighter (the one with the brain dead crewman and one biotic to fight). ;)

I think that is one of the more irritating side missions, and also think that UNC: Missing Survey Team is kind of tricky since it is similar, except it is in a mine. While you have more space, it unlocks earlier than Derelict Freighter, and if you run it when you have really long cooldowns it isn't so much fun.

Anyway, if we are talking about the first game, then I suppose I would say that the two assassins are tough if you are a new character, and then after that I think the Battlemaster on Therum is kind of rough if you do that planet first, especially if you don't take a squad member with Lift or Neural Shock, or have it yourself. It seems to me that most other missions play out relatively the same, especially the side missions, where I tend to just funnel all the enemies through a choke, since they tend to bumrush you on Insanity.  The last bunker on Rogue VI can be a pain since there are a lot of higher tier drones, and if you aren't on top of your powers, they will overwhelm you.

This is also the case on UNC: Hostage. Basically if one sees you, they all rush towards the door into the cargo hold, and you can basically just mow them down. Where it may get tricky is if you get hit with a "throw" before you get back in there, and if that happens then you might end up just getting chain staggered until killed. Otherwise, it is easier than Derelict Freighter since you cannot get the husks to all rush one spot, they are in waves, and it is laid out such that you have to nearly get into their pulse range for them to see you.

I love sniping from up there. One of the times that sniping really shines.

I just finished doing a trilogy run on insanity as a engineer. As I recall I didn't die at all in ME1 and for the hardest fight I don't recall having any that really gave me any trouble.

thanks.

I used Ashley and Kaidan. I did everything I could then went to Virmire. For the rest of the game I used Wrex and Kaidan

Krogan Battlemaster on Normal, my first playthrough, i did not know how to use biotics.
Changed difficulty to Casual and even then had to make many attempts to kill it.

Second playthrough on Hardcore with imported char and Krogan melted in 5 seconds.
