I've seen many people say that. On what basis you claim that? Is she a better person? Ok no argument there but Anders is a better healer. He has revive, group heal and his normal heal spell becomes ready faster thanks to swift justice talent.

It just feels like she's quick to heal however needs it most as soon as needed.  She seems faster at it than 
Anders too.  Might just be because I like her better, but I don't know for sure...

DA2 I have no consistent party. I try to avoid using Anders as much as possible.

Unfortunately, I don't like using warriors, so I didn't get to play with them much (except when I made Sten an archer).

The third one was often interchangeable but I primarily stuck with Bethany until the end of Act 1

In RPGs where you have a full party of companions but cannot deploy the entire party at once, I tend to rotate the companions in and out. Story is the main draw for me and from a story perspective it usually doesn't make sense to have companions who never accompany the protagonist into combat. DA:O and DA2 weren't exceptions, I used all the companions more or less equally.

I usually try to use everyone.If we're going to a place a party member has a connection to then I include that party member.
If my main character isn't a rogue then I try to include one to open chests.

If I have an Li I try to include them as often as I can.
