Poor Kaiden, everyone's always saying he's boring.
Only with FemShep he is not, but that only applies to if the romance started in ME1 and carried to ME3. He doesn't have much to say to you nor does he have unique dialogues if the romance is start in ME3. He's really boring with Male Shepard since they don't have a lot of scenes together.

The best thing that ever happened to Kaidan was Jacob.
Every Fem Shep's a bootycall if they romanced Jacob.

The hilarious part about Cortez' romance, is that in most of the endings, you've just replaced his husband whom was killed by the Collectors, and become his boyfriend whom was killed by the Reapers.
He obviously promiscuous.

She has a certain something to her.
Maybe it's the entire emotional depth and the burden of being a completely genetically engineered-by-a-megalomaniacal-madman thing. I'm not sure what, but I find her intriguing.

Obligatory jack propaganda.
Jack obviously.
I recently played without any DLCs. In Vanilla ME3 (what most people probably still play), it's definitely Jack and Thane. Those are just appallingly done, but great characters. ****ing Engineer Adams and Donelly get more dialogue than those two.

I have a Shepard who only tried to romance her. It was a beautiful story. I didn't feel like I was missing anything at all by not romancing anybody else.
Also, to an earlier poster who asked if you get paired with Liara if you choose nobody, the answer is no. No one was at the locker with me in ME1 nor came to me before Ilos, and no game tried to default Liara as having been with me after that.

Yeah, I keep hearing about that with Liara, but never ran into it either.

On the flipside, considering you could have romanced her continuosly for two games prior to that, her romance in ME3 is pretty weak. You pretty much have to start from scratch again. Wouldn't have taken too much to record two seperate sets of dialogue. Hell they could have spent the time doing that rather than EDI's snatch.

Did anyone else play a single FemShep and find it annoying to have to reject Kaidan *twice*? I went through the usual business of "sorry, this was just a battlefield thing" with him in ME1 and figured that was the end of it. They got along fine as friends after that, and they patched up their differences over Cerberus in ME3. But then I did his "dinner on the Citadel" scene and he not only brings it up again, but doesn't seem to acknowledge that they already talked about it in ME1.
While I generally picked the more friendly/polite options in the conversations with him, I didn't notice anything that seemed as if it was hinting that Shepard had changed her mind. I think there was one line in the hospital that prompts Kaidan to say "Are you flirting with me?" but I'm pretty sure I reloaded and replayed the conversation to avoid that line. Does Kaidan always do this in ME3 with an unattached FemShep no matter what precedes it?

I think that was included so that new players would know Kaidan was available.

If you don't apologize for moving on with another L.I., but you don't lie either, you can't continue to the relationship anymore and this is done at the first Hospital meet.

Well, this particular Shepard remained single throughout the trilogy, so there was no other LI to bring up in the hospital. And I'm not sure why she would have apologized for anything anyway since she and Kaidan were not an item in ME1.

It defauls in Citadel DLC (after the sushi shootout) and in the opening for ME2 on PS3. Those are the only wo points I can remember.

I actually liked him in ME3. He's way more interesting, specially that line about TIM before hitting Cerberus HQ.

I heard it's tied to the gift. If you give him a gift, then he takes that as showing interest.

Oh I know what you mean. I just figured she's just being used as a convenient placeholder NPC there. It's not like you're officially flagged as romance. BTW, does Cortez show up in that Citadel part?
