Don't you remember, it's okay for the writers to change what Shepard thinks, even if the player wants them to think somethingelse. It is perfectly natural and all part of being heroic.

I don't romance Jack or Miranda, but with Sam as my LI I'm able to choose who escorts femshep.

Just how many catfights are possible in ME3? I know (per YouTube) there are exchanges of varying degrees of hostility on the dreadnought depending on if you've locked in with one or not, but are there references to past infidelities in Citadel too? I only took two of my Shepards through it; one was loyal to Kaidan throughout and the other was loyal to Tali.

Edit: now that I think of it, Ashley was NOT happy when JayneShep cheated with Miranda (and Kelly, and Jack) and lied to her about it in the hospital...

Yeah, but I still remember her being pleasant while walking up to the casino.  CidShep handled the break well, though.

I tried to go stag in ME1, but Ashley thought "yeah poetry can be cool" meant "you tryin' to get the pipe?" and ninja-manced me. Fakin ME1 romances, how do they work.

I figured out you can stop the Ashley romance with the "You're out of line!" choice in the second conversation and stay on good terms with her. You have to explicitly agree to it with Liara (or choose the bugged renegade rejection, or talk to her once instead of twice). Not sure how to keep LT Hairgel at bay in FemShep runs short of nuking him. Ignore him the entire game, maybe?

You can turn him down, not that hard.

I don't remember if my FemShep romanced Liara or not though, so she might have locked in her before...

Yeah, actually, I haven't played through Citadel with a non-romanced Shepard. My no-romance trilogy run was played with a variation of my FemShep who ends up with Traynor, but that was before the DLC's release.

The romance arcs for ME1 were handled so bizarrely in that random bits of dialogue that aren't automatically obvious, would lock them in.

Never did a Stag!Shep. My failshep was based on the likeness and personality of Jayne Cobb, but he ended up single in the final game following the deaths of Jack, Kelly, Ashley, Miranda, and a failed attempt to pick up Traynor.

Didn't expect it to play out that way...

Isn't Single FemShep the only one who can wind up with Javik?

Yeah, I think so.  Guess I'm glad that I got that playthrough knocked out before Citadel.

I wonder if you can you opt out of both those with dialogue choices. Looks like you can with James, but Javik's just ... tossed in there.
