Never was quite that effective with just drones in my FemShep Engineer playthrough. Must have spec'd them wrong.

Gotta love chain overload/neural shock, though.

It was all about incinerate for me, James with squad inferno ammo, me with incinerate and incindiary grenades

B)

I liked creating the droid army with Tali, I could leave the room grab a bite to eat and come back to a cleared room.

How do you spec the drones? I could never really get it right. They'd harass and tie up enemies beautifully, but not nearly as effective at eliminating them as people seem to claim.

Going stag the entire trilogy. Except for Kelly, of course.

I completelty forgot that was an option. Don't you get auto-paired with liara if you try to stag ME1/ME3?

No though avoiding Ashley needs ovaries, playing a douche or a nuke.

Combat Drone: Shields & Damage, Shields & Damage, Rockets

Sentry Turret: Shields & Damage, Armor Piercing Ammo, Flamethrower

Then stack as much +Power Damage as possible to boost the drones attacks. The build works best with some kind of shotgun/Talon Engineer, since keeping fire off the turret is necessary for them to rack up the damage and get that Flamethrower working.

Ah. See, I went chain lightning instead of rockets for crowd control and didn't max out the sentry.

What about a bonus power?

I choose Defense Matrix for the tech power boost and emergency shield recharge.

I use to use Defense Drone to add more drones and for stunning enemies (it's damage is very negligible), but ultimately decided on using Defense Matrix because I got annoyed from having to constantly repop D-Drone.

The turret's Flamethrower does does good damage. Unfortunately, it doesn't have anywhere near the bulk of the drone and the flamethrower has to be fairly close to the enemy for it to work. However, it's damage is good, it targets cloaked enemies, and it even primes fire explosions as icing on the cake. Shepard does sorta have to tank for the turret though so it doesn't get killed in 2 seconds.

If you don't apologize for moving on with another L.I., but you don't lie either, you can't continue to the relationship anymore and this is done at the first Hospital meet.

Well, this particular Shepard remained single throughout the trilogy, so there was no other LI to bring up in the hospital. And I'm not sure why she would have apologized for anything anyway since she and Kaidan were not an item in ME1.

I heard it's tied to the gift. If you give him a gift, then he takes that as showing interest.

OK, thanks for the info. That seems kind of dumb on Bioware's part, though - I usually do the gift regardless of Shepard's relationship with the VS.

The one thing bothers me is why couldn't Steve, Miranda, Jack and Samantha escort Shepard during the casino mission? They can distract the guard al well or better than the others.

I guess they're not Shepard's true friends/lovers.

Well, Miranda is keeping a low profile throughout ME3 (though apparently not quite low enough that she can't shout, "Hey Shepard, over here!" in the docking bay). She doesn't come to the party either unless you play it after Sanctuary.

I liked Kelly's romance in ME2. It had the most natural buildup. And the flirting was cute. But I wish there would have been a proper romance scene/conclusion like the others, the dancing was a bit silly.

Bingo.  Shep's not a creep who bangs his subordinates.

Well the fan favourite has got to be either Liara or Tali. I usually go with Tali but then I feel bad for Garrus :(

I think it has a good buildup too, but mostly because they spread out the conversations with the plot. I learned to do the same thing with others, so it kind of works out as well.

I'm a fan, and neither of these are even close to my favorite.

Well, my avatar gives it away ;) Not many people like Ashley so she's probably not picked often. She's very misunderstood and underrated.

ME3 only:
The good: Ashley, Kaidan, Liara.
The mediocre: Garrus, Tali, Steve, Samantha.
The bad: Miranda, Jack, Diana, Kelly.
The ugly: Jacob, Thane. Awful resolutions.
The DLC-dependant: Javik, Samara, James. They should have been available from the start.

Pretty much agree with you but, with the DLC I think honestly they get pretty equaled out. Expect for Jacob's and makes Thane's honestly more tragic and heart renching... don't get me wrong I think it's a great piece of writing its just.. ouch... man...

I thought Thane's was pretty good:

"His only wish, was for you."

Well aren't you a special little snowflake? S/he simply said that s/he thought that those two characters were fan favorites (and s/he's right, at least according to the numerous publications I see referring to them as such). Not that every single fan had to have these characters as their favorites.

Anyway, "underapprciated"? Probably Ashley. It's not even because I particularly like anything about her, it's more because she gets SO much mostly undeserved crap from the fanbase. Like, my god.

I guess I'll have to agree on Thane. He was one of the stronger characters post-ME1 squad and had a heartfelt arc.

ME2-only, right? Because the writers admittedly forgot he was a romance interest in ME3 and had to toss a couple lines in there acknowledging it last-minute.

Still not as bad as Jacob. Although, I guess he does get more lines.
