Think of your favorite romances throughout the series...would you be able to be with someone in real life with those characteristics and problems?

For example:

Jack. She is an awesome romance option in my opinion but to be with her in real life would be very hard on you. When she opens up to you she shows that she cares, but there are so many barriers up that it would be a very emotionall taxing and unpredictable relationship.

Tali: My favorite romance but seems to be over trusting(trusting the shadow broker and blindly trusting in the fleet to make proper use of her research). Not to mention her childhood and "daddy issues" will be something you would need to work by. May not sound like a big deal, but from experince I know that it can lead to unpredictable breakdowns and emotional "check outs"

I think I would have problems approaching half the women of Mass Effect, much less ask one out.

Having said that I think I could work it out with Kelly as long as she doesn't have scale-itch.

 Kasumi... That is all.
She's funny, smart, really hot, and above all. LOYAL. She's so loyal to Kayje, even in death she want's only him. Now, she's crushing on Jacob but it's just a crush.
Kasumi should have been a romance option.
She's so cool. And when she leans into Shepard on Stolen Memories....
Here- A perfect match.

Best moment ever in Stolen Memories is being FemShep in a dress and punching guards off the roof. :wizard:

Would go for Wrex definitely...he's a badass and he doesn't even need to roar to make you fret, he just looks at you and somehow you have a shotgun hole through your face already. Brought him everywhere with me in ME1 and in the Citadel DLC.

Yeah, I punched every Merc while in my dress. Of course, you can't do that once you have to escape.

renegade Femshep is the best. When Hock's trying to give his "big bad" speech. Femshep pulls out locust and shoots his "precious" little vase. Hock whines like a little b!tch. Classic. Renegade femshep is so funny for the whole of ME2. Good stuff. Hale was so good as Shepard.

There were certain renegades that I couldn't pass off whilst being a Paragon Shep. But ME2, you had to be careful with how much Renegade or Paragon you're taking in since the morality system was very important in ME2, because certain conflicts cannot be resolved without a maxed paragon or renegade bar.

I did a mixed paragon/renegade playthrough awhile ago. (30%/70% ish) I could do all the charm/intimidate stuff except during Lair of the Shadow Broker when she had the hostage, and during the Tali/Legion conflict where I could only use charm for some reason even though I had way more renegade. o.O The trick is you can't put off missions or it gets harder everytime.

Yeah, that's the problem. ME3 made the morality system totally irrelevant. Reputation was 100% of what really mattered. ME2's morality system kinda forces the player to make only Paragon/Renegade choices only.

Importing into ME2 with an ME1 character tho makes it easier. You can do many paragon choices as a renegade and vice versa if you import a Renegade or paragon ME1 shep.

But yeah, ME2 does make you play a certain way. But that's okay. ME2 is a game about choice and consequences. And it is shown the best during the Suicide Mission- a masterpiece in player agency and choice and consequence.

ME2's morality system worked well for ME2.

Or to get to the hard checks fast, which I think is what Secretlyapotato meant. It's also a bit easier if you max Shep's class power early, though this will involve some severe tradeoffs.

I have no idea what NeonFlux117 is talking about. Forcing Shepard to play unrelated events according to an arbitrary morality meter in order to  persuade people about stuff later in the game isn't related to any definition of choices and consequences I've ever heard of. It's just a bad system, full stop.

It's easier, but it's not recommended if survival is needed. If it's a second runthrough, then it's really no big deal. At least ME1 imports get a boost.

So, the Suicide mission did not involve any choice and consequence that you had made prior to said mission?

.... Okay.

Jack and Liara are both realistic to me. I've dealt with barriers and Liara's type of openness alike. I like the former. Not to get corny, but lets just say most men are geared to hunt.

Pfft please.

The concept of possession is so nebulous. And imagine what you could steal together:ph34r:
