We're used to makeup being available (well, for the females), so there's that. Tattoos as well. I think accessories would be neat. At the very least, let me give my character an earring or something.

Would love to give my character an earring, and I know it sounds silly but for my male characters, well the Humans and Dwarves I want to be able to give them some proper chest hair from the get go, rather than wait for mods xD

and since it doesn't look like this one will be supporting mods =(

I wouldn't be surprised if piercings and more facial tattoos were featured with the more traditional customization options already. I'd love to be able to modify body hair on male PCs or for that matter do body tattoos. There was Qunari war paint....

It would be really cool if the texture artists responsible for makeup in the character creator were to take some professional makeup artist's tips about makeup application this time around. It seems to be a very common thing in games with makeup options that they don't appear to be made by people who apply makeup on a regular basis, especially when it comes to eyeshadow and eyeliner. I recommend The Art of Makeup, Making Faces, and Face Forward, all by Kevyn Aucoin, as really helpful guides to makeup application.

I know it's not the most pressing thing on the devs plates, but good makeup in character creators without modding the game is rare and very much appreciated.

Nope. You don't have time for makeup while demons are raining from the sky, sorry.

I just hope Bio didn't focus all of their strength in to story and world, ok those thing are most important, but those things are nothing if you cannot play with the character you want. Whats the point of playing the game if the main character pisses you off with their look.

So very true KymeraX

I just started replaying DA II but encountered a weird glitch which made the armour set I want to wear make it so it required a level that you could not possibly obtain even with the console commands

thankfully was able to use the gff editor to save the face morph...spent nearly an hour designing my hawke again xD hopefully the glitch won't happen again

I tend to remove all makeup from my character. why is it the poor draged through a hedge backwards disheveled Dragonborn prisoner about to be executed in her pee poo and sweat staned rags has perfect Blusher, masscara, eyeshadow and lippy?

I would like the addition of jewelry, but I would also like for scars or other markings to be available.

I want my male humans to have a carpet of virility that rivals Varric's. Arms that look like there is more hair than arm and leg hair that makes the leg look like a tree trunk.

I think scars and make up are in, if you look at npc characters one of them has a pretty nasty scar and so does Cassandra, make up has been in before so i dont see why they'd remove it

I would love an eyeliner option for men. Now before everyone decides to flay me, eyeliner on either gender is used in a lot of places to help combat the glare of the sun.

If you watched the pax gameplay footage then go to the part where the inquisitor is talking to one of his troops and you can see a huge scar across his face, plus Cassandra and Varric now have scars, so im pretty sure theyre in

it's looking good for scars and we know we'll probably have makeup for the females, but why not makeup for the males? it'd be nice to have the option.

Did anyone use makeup at all in those (medieval) days? Is there any real reason why Dragon Age should have makeup?

Well, the Egyptians used make up to keep the sun from getting into their eyes by having it bounce off or absorb into the dark makeup instead, similat to what American Football players do now.

The image they released of the Qunari faces all have various degrees of face paint.
