Ive unfortunately sustained an injury to one of my hands, and the prognosis isnt very good in the short term. Ive noticed that DAI looks very 3rd person centric, and i havent seen any mouse use for movement and the UI elements have looked quite scarce.
Any official word on this?
Thanks.
Will DA: I be able to be played with just the mouse like the previous games?

Yes (and sorry to hear about the hand!), in fact they're developing a PC-specific UI for DAI.

The demo footage has all been played with a controller, but the PC version will contain full KBM support.Gibb_Shepard wrote...

The only question is whether they'll include a clickable pause button in the UI (like they did with DA2), thus allowing the game to be played entirely with the mouse even without remapping any controls.
I expect they will. They've included that UI element in nearly every game they've done.

The DAO pc team is tailoring the game for mouse and pc, this was stated in one of the game informer videos and in the cover story.

They added controller support to give player's more options, and used them during the demo for ease of use or something.

Actually there are other input devices that you might want to look into if it become necessary. There are USB foot pedal devices that can be mapped to carry out some simple controls. I am sure there are other things as well.
