Because that's what she's called by Bioware and in the game. "Yeoman Chambers", they even say that in the IGN video you just watched lol.

Because that's what she's called in the game? When you highlight her, and in the subtitles, she is referred to as "Yeoman Chambers."

Anyway, I have to lawl heartily at all these people on these forums and the old forums alike who assumed Chambers was going to be some bland bimbo with a cliche look. Those who assumed she'd be a blond, too. Oh, man, is ignorant prejudice ever funny.
