Wrex and Garrus would have both been ok with destroy. Liara may have preffered control or even synthesis.

No, Morinth would most certainly *not* choose Control. She is a hedonist, and there would be absolutely no pleasures to be had from becoming an ancient AI. She also looks down on people like her mother dying for some moral cause.

It would be Destroy for her.

Team dextro would've said destroy them. Even if Tali had interfaced with a geth and she reasoned due to starbrat that she and those like her would die along with the geth she would've said destroy the reapers at any cost.

Actually it could've been kind of sweet shep attaches a bomb to the red option him and Tali hold hands she takes off her mask so he and us the gamers can see her face in actual game one last time and both of them die due to their reaper interfacing (as Tali would have had reaper tech thanks to the geth she linked up with) and both of them if not all three of them die. No get out of death technicality starbrat said in both ending EC or pre shep would die if he picked destroy due to his reaper tech so it only makes sense he still does.

Javik would space Shep, Control, and have the reapers nuke their zombie husks from orbit on a useless planet, then themselves.

Or he'd throw/slam a keeper into the tube of doom.

LOL I'm just having this mental image of Grunt doing what Solidus Snake did to the Metal Gear Rays at the end of Sons of Liberty.

10/10 would play again.

My favorites:
Miranda: Skeptical towards control but would support it if she had evidence that it worked. Destroy otherwise
Kasumi: Could not resist "stealing" the Reapers.:bandit:

Others of note:
Mordin- would refute the holokid's bull**** in the blink of an eye, causing it to shut itself and the Reapers down in shame
Samara- would not even hear the nonsense beyond what she needed to destroy.
Legion- would control but would not impose its will on anything. True geth believe in choosing your own future.

Everyone else: destroy, via shotguns, biotics, airlocks etc.

LOL!! She may even write a Justicar bible titled "The Code Dictates" It would be a grim universe indeed.

@HYR, I can see Morinth using Control simply because it allows her ultimate freedom and power.  She'll no longer have to live her life on the run, she can crush the Asari government and the place that keeps Ardat-yakshi locked away. She could travel to deep space, conquor anyone and any planet she sees fit and live forever so there's plenty of new music and things to experience. I would say the only problem would be the mind orgasm thing but she'll have all the time in the world to figure out a way to use indocrination/mind control to get her sexual jollies. I think she would go for it. :D

I forgot to add:
Zaeed- Destroy
Kasumi-Control/Sync? (Control because....why not? Most likely cause she would want the reapers around to fix the broken tech (relays) or Sync cause she may see it as a way to bring Keiji(?) back)
Dr. Chakwas- Destroy
Thane-Destory/Sync (I can see him falling into Sync to cure his illness)
Grunt- Destroy

It's funny how most people project their own biases onto ALL of the other characters (I always choose Destroy, why would any REASONABLE character NOT pick DESTROY?)

As someone who has roleplayed his way into picking all of the choices at one time or another, I think it's important to think about how someone comes to a different conclusion than your own (9 of my 14 Shepards have chosen to Destroy).

FOR THE MOST PART Destroy is the "easy" choice. It's the emotional choice that speaks to the short term satisfaction of "Screw you and your stupid prattling, kid, I'm blowing these fncker$ to hell!", but when you start to think of the LONG term it begins to lose some of its appeal.

When I say long term, I'm talking about time scales like the AI and Leviathans are considering rather than a couple hundred years down the road. This is the area where Control and Synthesis dominate in favorability. The difference becomes more about your personal ethics about changing life as we know it.

Keeping these things in mind, here is my list, with possible considerations in the order that I think they would choose:

Kaidan: Destroy, Control (Paragon)
Joker: Synthesis (selfishly wants to get with EDI)
Ashley: Destroy
Garrus: Destroy, Control
Wrex: Destroy
Tali: Destroy, Control (Paragon), Synthesis
Liara: Control, Synthesis, Destroy
Jacob: Destroy
Miranda: Destroy, Control
Kasumi: Destroy, Synthesis (a shot to rejoin Keiji)
Zaeed: Destroy
Mordin: Control, Synthesis (although I'm almost certain the Dr wouldn't be able to cross the ethical divide)
Grunt: Destroy
Jack: Destroy
Samara: Destroy (those saying she would choose Control aren't thinking about her disdain for power, she'd strictly be JUDGING the Reapers)
Thane: Destroy, Synthesis (hope for a cure)
Morinth: Destroy, Control (Renegade) (Morinth could be seduced by the power trip, though I'm certain she'd be enraged at the loss of feeling after the change)
Legion: Synthesis (sees this choice as a galaxywide version of the change his people just underwent), Control (Paragon) (sees this choice as taking over the status quo)
James: Destroy
Javik: Destroy
EDI: Synthesis

D'you know when you try to load a character into a corrupted cell/worldspace and there is that message that is all like ERROR: INVALID WORLDSPACE.

That is the message I am getting now, in my head.

Wow it is late. Maybe I should stop stream-of-consciousness posting.

Destroy isn't the easy choice. It's the sensible choice and what everyone is fighting for.

Legion- would control but would not impose its will on anything. True geth believe in choosing your own future.

That was ME2 Legion. ME3 Legion is a weak-willed heretic wannabe.

I think I can already get an idea from ME2's Collector base dialogue. The Crucible is a loose extension of that. Jack and Legion would advocate Destroy and Control, respectively. Kind of a no brainer in those cases though. I like Mordin about as much as those two, but he's the wildcard. I don't know what he'd pick. Depends on the time of day.

I think Mordin's dialogue during his LM in ME2 is a good guide.  Something like this:

"Unacceptable methods, unacceptable goals.  Won't change.  No choice.  Have to destroy you."

Yeah any subtlety and uniqueness in teh geth-quarian plot went out the window in ME3 and idiocy ruled supreme.

Oh and anyone saying Kasumi would choose the green nonsense because Keiji, is wrong because:
a) applying metagaming to an in-universe character doesn't work. There's no way of knowing it will do that and nowhere in the holokid's greasy sales pitch is there anything about raising the dead.
B) the idea is moronic.

where did anybody get the idea that the catalyst could reunite kasumi & keiji? I just don't get how someone could get there from synthesis.

Hard to say, although I more or less agree with what others are putting forth with respect to which characters would choose what.

I think it would've been nice to find out, because I wonder if ME3's endings would have gone over like a lead balloon if they were presented differently (ie-racing to activate the Crucible while the Catalyst tried to stop you and your squad from doing it, to give the ending choice more of a sense of victory).
