If you can't find a game that entertains you as much as the Mass Effect series I kind of feel sorry for you, as there are many. But, just to ruffle some feathers...

suck it.
It's okay.... You put ME1 in the top spot and that's a good thing. You've got some issues... Not gonna lie.
But you have hope..... More than you know.

Non-sequitur. The point of a Macguffin is that, ultimately, it doesn't matter what it is. Tvtropes describes it as follows "It is usually a mysterious package/artifact/superweapon that everyone in the story is chasing." Totally unlike the conduit, right?Conduit is not a Maccguffin. It's a back door into the citadel. Again this is told to you by Vigil..
Actually, yeah. What the Conduit is really does matter. It shapes the whole endgame. In the traditional sense, I don't think either the Conduit or the Crucible counts as a MacGuffin.
There's a sloppy sense of the word where both would fit, though.

BioWare stopped making "Mass Effect games" after ME2.... So it's been like 4 years or so.
If you wanna get technical, BioWare stopped making "Mass Effect games" when they rebooted the series with ME2.
Also ... (whispers) ... ME1's writing ain't perfect, either.
How dare you? Blasphemy! The first two games are sacred cows. No one can touch them. They are the illustration for perfection in the great book of knowledge.
See, what you are missing is a point of reference. They were good games, with flaws, and those flaws were forgiven because they were good.
And then ME3 sucked so much that yes, it vaulted those games into being sacred cows. Because that is how you had to adjust the scale to account for ME3.

And stop hating just because you don't have a custom avatar.
It's unbecoming.

All three games must be spoken of only with reverence but in terms of greatness it is more like ME3=ME2>ME1. Nothing against ME 1 but the sequels are better.

Ouch. If ME3 is considered "poison", then I shudder at the thought of what ME2's side-plot rebooting and RPG-crippling blunders are.

Indeed. I'd never go that far when describing Mass Effect 3. To call it "poison" in the context of whether or not it's a good game or not is kind of offensive.dreamgazer wrote...

DEM ending? Yeah, look at Vigil's datafile. There's the closest thing to an actual DEM in the series.
For the longest time, I thought I was the only one here who who noticed this.
