When talking to merchants or opening my crafting pages, such as poison making, the game will consistently crash.  I have updated my video drivers and installed all of my Windows updates as well.  To test the consistency of this problem, I opened my game several times and clicked on my poison making ability.  After opening it around 1-3 times the game will crash.  While playing it consistently crashes at this point or while buying/selling at merchants.
Does anyone know what would cause this?
I am running Windows XP Home with service pack 3 and a geforce GTX295 video card, and an Athlon 64 FX-60 dual core processor with 3 gigs of RAM.
After updating my drivers and my Windows service pack, I'm not even really sure where to look for a possible solution any more.

I use a GTX285 with xp sp3 and I reverted to the 185.85 driver for stability on my pc. I found that the newer drivers caused too many crashes in this game and others (fifa10 became unplayable). Hope that helps.
