Was trying it on GE for sniper challenges. But it's no valiant or black widow. Geth Plasma SMG as sidearm. Also for SMG challenge. But finished almost 3rd in Rio-Geth gold. Definitely ranking would have been better with Talon/Hurrdurr.

what classes and setup to choose for these guns? Also incisor. Never used that gun.

When I did the Incisor challenge I put it on the Turian Sentinel. His stability boosting passive is a significant help with that gun.

I think I have mostly used the Raptor with the Salarian Engineer. I usually use the Indra with him but if I'm going for Sniper Rifle Mastery I'll switch to the Raptor once the Indra challenge is complete. I also recall using it on the Huntress and finding it OK with her.

Incisor HFI. I use an Adrenaline mod, but you could use a Stability enhancer to make it easier.

Equip Disruptor rounds and pew pew the beep boops in the middle of their faces.

Oh. So GE was not a good choice then? He boosts accuracy and fire rate. These guns need stability more? How about GPSMG?

I have completed all gun challenges ones, but them I used good guns Iike Kishock, Kryse etc. Pistol. Hall yes using shuriken anyone?

It's accurate but it's time to kill is terrible compared to the other top tier snipers- BW, Widow, Javelin and so on.

But it is light and can be very good for an Adept.

The GPSMG isn't horrendous, but it's...disappointing.  Good fun on the Geth Engineer I suppose.

I definitely consider the Raptor to be in the wrong category as an Uncommon SR. It should switch places with the Mantis, as it is probably one of the 3 least effective guns in the game.

I wish I had advice on what kit could make good use of it, but other than picking a weapons platform, and loading up on passives, I can't think of anything.

Confession. There is so much GI praise here that he scares me. I was pretty pathetic when I started playing ME multiplayer. It was my first ever online gaming try. So when I started, I used to press Shift to bring up the power wheel. LOL. After 1200 hours I am much better and can Pug Gold with most classes. My points and N7 ranking would mean people expect me to top score with huge margin if I play GI. And I am not sure I can. Same goes with other popular kits such as TGI and AIU or Kronguard. Silver bores me. And not willing to solo after i got that lone wolf.

Actually I did the raptor chalange same as you with GE. It worked pretty well.

GPSMG is actually one of my fav weapons on the TSol.   Use CS build for crowd control, skipping proxy. I prefer 100% full RoF evos on marksman.  Obviously full juicy turian weapon passives.  Weapon mods use both clip and heatsink.  Use highest SMG amp you have with SMG gear.  AP 3 or 4....  Watch kill feed roll in GPSMG kills... Seriously it mows down things soooooooo fast it's almost funny (at least on gold, yet to try in a plat w/ it).

i also slapped Cryo ammo IV. mistake but I have around 150 of hose. Other match got wiped out on wave 9 reapers. Swarmers , banshee balls, and low rank pugs.  Slapped Distruptor in next match. Geth and extracted. I finished second to less experienced player.

If you don't like Infiltrators, try TSol or Destroyer.

The gi has the highest weapons increase in the game, so if you can manage his durability he can do better with any gun in the game, he has damage boost upon damage boost, most of which rebuff each other, coupled with a rof boost, the ability to see and shoot through walls, and a stacking debuff to increase his damage exponentially in a team, his raw damage output is far above any of the other infiltrators, which themselves are far and above the other classes

Oh I do. My absolute fav are Huntress (for farming platinum along with Collector adept), QFI and Shadow. Also Drell Assassin. Any suggestions on them? Soldiers are actually my least fav.

I have seen a video of someone one shot gold scion with GI. . I lost track of the video.

also the reason why I haven't touched Javelin yet. Excuse is mine is only level 3.

Yeah man np have fun.  Couple tips just from playing with it alot.  If you have trouble w/ the kick hip fire alot only to aim when ya feel its safe...  or use a stability consumable (but no roll/dodge i usually go cyclonic).  Dont be afraid to CS a few times to knock a few things around before engaging marksmans and shooting helpless mobs on the floor from your CS...  on bigger enemies like an atlas or a banshee you can fire most of clip, engage marksman to reload while firing... and just keep on truckin....  phantoms cs to force bubble... etc.  Your gonna blow thru ammo that 800 with marksman on goes fast, dont be afraid to use a thermal clip (or 5)!   CS while firing regular CS does good dmg to shields/barriers I find its better to spam to CS while firing to drop shields first.  It's actually pretty damn amazing on the Tsol

Another setup for the GPSMG is the Destroyer specced for accuracy and RoF with Ext Mag/Heat Sink/AP rounds. Also a lot of fun.

Edit: The destroyer setup works best if you spec into Hydra missiles, and bring something like the scorpion/venom as a Phantom-dispatcher.

Why Expert package? With even SMG package you get 200% recharge. Indra is great on everyone unlike BW, but unfortunately I already completed the challenge.

I had fun with the raptor on the DI. It was the last weapon I needed to for the SR challenge as well. Went full cerberus set up and carried the Hornet as my sidearm as well. It worked well with that set up for me, and kinda had a little secret agent feel to it.
