I got back into the game recently, expecting to find matches few and far between.

Was a bit rusty at first so opted for Bronze matches - couldn't find any. **** it, went to silver - small bit of a wait.

Got back into the swing of things, back to Gold - no problem finding matches at all. And the overall quality of the players has been pretty high. Except for the odd N7 100 trying gold with a predator and a mantis.

Edit: Had a Gold match today with some guy who ended up with 17k or 19k points. We won so I won't hold it against him but dgshfgdsfjsd.

Had a fun game last night, joined a collectors gold, hazard reactor game. There was was a juggy talking through the game, said he beat his 1st gold game just yesterday and that he had never beaten the collectors. He played okay overall. Ended up with just myself and another guy extracting as the inexperienced jug and another player had rushed to the ezone. He was still happy that he beat the collectors though. Then in the return lobby I see he is only a 1st level juggy.

I'm decent in Plat but need support.  I've been trying to play with Goosh but haven't been able to yet.  I need more friends who play this game.

I remember when we played I got picked up by a Banshee because I tried to play hero and revive the other 2 guys and you had to finsh the wave by yourself. If you play with Goosh prepare for that scenario several times a game.

MP is not dead, but it is dying noticeably (xbox). More than half the games I join are already in progress, many past wave 5.

Seeing plenty of new players around on gold and the occasional plat game recently which is nice. If only my N7 was higher than 270 for more carrying space. N7 is a sort of backpack size measurement, right?

I find it so hard to find a playable plat pug (as in no MG nor Rio or Giant/Reapers lobbies) that I'll play with whoever joins.

I dropped into a lobby with 3 players all under CP 100 with low level weapons and gear in my last gold game. They sounded like they knew each other .
My 36,000 CP looked totally out of place . Would have been an interesting game but they took forever to ready up so left them to it.

Usually end up carrying Gold PUGs. Whenever someone comes in who capable of a six-digit score, its like I've won the lottery.

One thing I've noticed is that if I leave a particularly bad lobby and try to search for a new one, I get dropped back into the same lobby repeatedly. This is a pretty good indication of the MP slowing down a little bit.

A relatively new player just joined Rusty and my on going Platinum game, I assume he was new because he spent the entire match trying to stasis everything. I don't think he realised that Banshees and Primes would not be effected by it.

Last time I played, I had a three man pug on geth/jade as well. Wave 10 devices are gruesome . Still extracted though. Good pugs and crutch PPR ACA makes me happy. 

If you have time this week-end, we should play.

Played a gold game with someone who added me to their friends list a while back, they have some time on their accounts, a couple rocking typhoons lvl 1 and particle rifle pretty low level as well.... After the gold collectors game they said they were gonna go missile glitch in platinum... I left after the first game partly cause I said it was my last mostly cause of what they considered to be a good time, I am not that kinda guy.

Here's a perspective from a fresh player.

Not everyone who has an N7 rating of 500 or less is a scrub.

I've recently started to play on the PC. My N7 rating is 282, w/ 875 medals, and 36 hours logged in. It all started when I got this really overwhelming desire to replay Mass Effect again. I had originally played it on the Xbox 360, but I sold it to pay for the Xbox One. Unfortunately, there is no backwards compatibility, so I decided to buy the trilogy for the PC about two weeks ago for 10 bucks on Amazon.

My point is, there are some people who are probably switching to different platforms for whatever reason. It's been a while since I've played, and the switch from consoles to PC took a while to get used to, but I'm back to where I was (which was never really that far really; actually I think I have more progress on the PC than I ever did on the Xbox 360), and I'm really enjoying the MP experience again.

My main problem is that, despite the fact that I want to play platinum, I don't have the weapons or gear to hold my own. I do well enough on Gold (which is the only thing I play) but it still takes a lot of effort to score points and keep up with others who have maxed manifests and better equipment.

My main goal is to improve my manifest, but my more immediate goal is to get my first banner; particularly the shotgun banner (I'm 6/9 so far, but I don't have all the shotguns, so I'll have to get the banner using the Eviscerator II and Scimitar VI).

Sometimes I feel like I'm being silently judged when I enter a room with 3 players with their banners, high N7 ratings, plethora of medals, and superior equipment. Still, most people don't seem to care, and I do just fine anyway. The AIU with a Grenade Capacity I gives me plenty of self-sufficiency and the shotgun boost makes up for my lack of weaponry. I'm afraid though that I've become too reliant on her.

Anyway, as long as the veterans have patience with us, we'll eventually be able to hold our own and help others as well. It's not that hard to master the game really, it's the weapons, gear, and equipment that take time to retrieve and make runs easier for everyone, and that takes time.

My brother bought the game (PS3), while downloading the dlcs, he hosted few bronze then I hosted gold ones. While it felt good to play on the old maps, it Was surprising how fast people joined my lobbies after every game.

When I do play, i seem to find people. Not as well as i did before xbox none came out, but still a decent following. So i cant complain.

I thought mastering the game was putting the magic circle into the game box so the pretty colors come out.
