MP certainly has gone on longer than I think anyone should expect it to have.

MP saved what was an atrocious job of an SP game, and given it wasn't the main focus, shows that there was something to save after the crash and burn.

Having said that, I finally hit at least a temporary respite from play. First, it was going back and playing BioShock 2. Now it is GTA. I would go back and play MP at any time if people hit me up for games, but they haven't, and I havent found the desire to go back on my own. We'll see. I'm sure I will still play MP, but just not as often.

ah the good old days when you could just kick a noob from a gold/plat match. Good times. Now you can't do that cuz they outnumber all of us.

Had several sub 23min PLAT matches last night with a group... one guy was DJ'ing silly songs thru the match (rick astley, wham, etc.). The point at which he solo'd a bamshee with a geth smg while yelling "pew, pew, pew, pew... b!otch!" I laughed so hard I cried.

Still fun.

I will say tho, before that match I had a helluva time getting into some GOLD matches (waiting for other players, lag, etc.). please people if yer internet connection sucks (particularly if yer wireless and yer girlfriend is surfing porn while yer playing), please DON'T host.

I do seem to be wielding the TGI crutch more often to deal with dodgy PUGs.

Had a Rio Reaper Gold today where all the guys kept running to the activate objectives and dieing in a circle. Did one activate on my own and the other three came and stood on top of me. It's a shame my mic is bust - I just wanted to shout "go away"!

I ran out of MIssiles in that match. But Hey we still got to full extraction and it was still fun.

I don't care if there are more noobs, I enjoy the challenge and it's forcing me to be a better carrier/clutcher:D

I never understood why people want to make the game super easy by doing that. IMO half the fun is unlocking the stuff from pack.. if I had every thign maxed I might not even want to play anymore.. least not in PUGs

After attempting to play the frankly rubbish GTA Online, I can tell you that to many players glitching IS the game!

If they can't find an exploitable glitch, they move onto a different game. Nope. Makes no sense to me either.

I think it may be more of an issue of someone's Internet sucking in general, rather than if someone is wireless or not.

I run my PS3 wirelessly, just a standard cable Internet modem from Comcast and a Linksys router we bought. My husband also runs his PS3 wirelessly and we are often both online gaming at the same time (he on GTA and me on ME3). And yet, the majority of my friends list requests me to be the one to host the lobby for all of us because apparently my connection is pretty rock solid. There's even a few that have told me verbatim that they experience so little lag that it's almost like they're the ones hosting when they're running on my host.

I have absolutely zero idea why or how that is, but I'm happy with it. LOL My only complaint is Comcast's bad habit of making our connection randomly, without warning, drop out for about 30 seconds. It seems to only ever happen once a day, and the whole time before that and the whole time after that, you can game for hours continuously without any issues, other than dealing with the usual PS3 shenanigans, but those aren't the Internet's fault. LOL

Comcast is really good to me too.. and I don't have that once a day drop problem. People also say my host is good unless my kid is on the internet.
