ppl cant really help their internet connection. I live in a rural location - fibre optic isn't going to be an option for several years if ever. 8Mbs Download, 2Mbs Upload but more like 5-6Mbs Download and 1Mbs Upload if I'm lucky. Yes it's annoying as hell but if you can't do anything about it, live with it. In the UK.

It is frustrating when players' come onto higher levels without exp/equipment but unless you play with friends/solo, nothing you can do about it; It makes for a more interesting game and hopefully teaches them something about the gameplay.

It is going to pretty much force you to solo with a team, because even a good player will experience enough lag that it will mess up their gameplay. Nobody is asking these people not to play the game, just search for a quick match and let someone with a better connection be the host of the game.

This, if one guy from Australia hosts 3 guys from Britain then tthat's just going to cause massive lag issues for the three Brits. If one of the British guys hosts then it's only the Australian lagging, It's not fair on the Australian but at the end of the day people won't judge them for bad gameplay, they won't have to solo, the mission successful and, if you manage to get as good as Deeber or D_Nought, people give you more credit than people of equal skill because lag.

I don't think I've ever been angry at a host because of the lag.

If I ever did, I think I'd quit playing MP, because obviously I woudn't be able to handle it.

I've recently done a few gold pugs and had multiple people message gg after extraction that actually tried to be good teammates. I would say the current state is quite good in terms of gameplay.
It's probably good players without people to run with when they decide to play so they pug instead.

The best part is I haven't seen wave start rocket killstreaks in such a long time that I am slowly getting back into the game.
I do miss that one thread that I could post in and organize games for when I got home to instantly have an A squad for some solid games.

Only played one game in about a month due to getting wrapped up in co-op GOTY BL2. I like to get in on some parties wayyyyyy later than most.

I'm not surprised, although still impressed, that so many new(er) players are being encountered in MP. I think it bodes well for the next MP installment (chalk me up as one of those weirdos more excited for MP than SP).

Good luck out there in the wilds BSN vets. Each time I think of popping in the disc for a round of MP nostalgia, I think to myself "I could be farming for a Slagga or Infinity or Norfleet..." and then I don't.

We had an N7 12 join my Gold lobby this afternoon. So, still some new folks.

They did well for a Level 6 soldier with Avenger I on Gold. I would have thought they were someone making a new account for lulz or an XBox/PC person trying PS3, except that they kept wanting to camp the LZ like a true rookie move, even after I advised them over the mic that they might not like that idea.

So, thinking it was a new person. Performed admirably, though, given the circumstances. Gave them lots o' credits to get their manifest off to a good start, so good deed for the day is done.

The last one went down and I thought, "I should do the good guy thing and go get him since I'm an infiltrator." Well.. that was stupid, because I got myself synced.

I was referring to PUGs, but after having played a few games recently they not only seem mostly capable, but are even willing to melee back, and the focus on team-play is impossible to ignore.

If you had duration cloak this wouldn't have been a problem. 

Also, l2p scrub! I was getting 10+ revives in multiple games without getting synced.

Considering how long ago ME3 was released, controversy over the SP plot(esp. the endings), and this being the first version of ME MP I'd say that the game is still doing extremely well and an overall smash hit. Hell it might have even saved the ME franchise.

You apparently didn't read my original post.  I was referring to ME3 multiplayer saving the ME franchise not ME3 period.  Not that hard to comprehend.
