Best video game trailer I have ever seen. Except maybe some of the Halo productions (even though I loathe the whole Halo series). I wish some of this intense orchestral music was used in-game.

That is one of the best game trailers I've seen around.
It doesn't try to awe us with its fantastic visuals, like Dragon Age's Sacred Ashes trailer, though the visuals are there in the background.
It isn't pretentious, what you see is what you'll see in the game.
It has the kind of profoundly moving music, typifying the heroism and sacrifice of Shepard, as he was flinging around in space fighting to save his life, with Joker shouting desperately for him, and TIM narrating that he is the only hope that humanity has.
It captured what the mission is about, through the amazing cinematic action cutscenes, through the characters in the squad, slowly building up the intensity right to the end, all the while impressing with its many little details, camera movements, character body language and animations.
If there ever was a best game trailer award, this one takes the cake in my book.

It truly is amazing.
Is it just me or could that be the normandy's core that explodes at ~01:45?

NO! Just NO!!!
You can't go releasing something so awesome and have us wait another 5 days. It's wrong, WRONG I TELL YOU!!!
Seriously though, I don't think it's a stretch to call that one of if not THE most amazing video game trailers of all time. Simply breathtaking. It game me goosebumps and got my adrenaline flowing. I'm literally shaking as I type this.
Oh, and please tell me that is in game music. The music, so emotional and powerful.

lol in the middle of the trailer i yelled out SIMPLY EPIC!!!! scattering wide eyed pets and getting startled glaces from the ppl in the nearby. i just grined at them and said, pointing to the screen, mass effect 2
i completly agree with yakko77 this trailer makes it VERY hard to wait another 5 days.

Bioware please make more of your game trailers like this one. Its quite simply one of the absolute best trailers I have seen in years, although Last Guardian comes quite close. All the character reveal trailers and the spoiler-rifict Sci vs FI stuff have been completely blown away by this. I honestly watched this trailer 15+ times last night and atleast another 5 this morning, and I still can't get enough.

I was truly moved by that trailer. As many have posted I did get goosebumps watching it...the music...the drama...the sheer intensity of it was amazing. I felt a little pit of fear in the stomach, a sense of pride and determination during Shepards speech, a sense of awe and wonder throughout. I am very impressed and cannot wait to play this truly epic game after watching that epic trailer...three times. Truly loved it!
