On topic; Bioware should be very proud of themselves. this trailer is beyond any videogame trailer I've ever seen. I watched the trailer for mass effect 1 afterword, and man I cringed at the comparison.

The franchise as a whole does what more videogames should aspire to; tell a story that is as emotionally engaging as the best movies out there. It is games like this that will move the videogame industry closer to a real artform, one deserving of some serious respect. In fifty years, when people look back at the dawning of videogames, its series like mass effect that will be sighted for bringing respect and artistic integrity to videogames.

Amazing trailer... Probably the best game trailer I've seen in a while, and certainly better than most movie trailers I saw recently.

I agree, the blur trailer had a bit of cheesey intro to Thane and Grunt, then had nothing but some random fighting.

This trailer however, is just simply astounding! The music, the cinematics, the game clips, I am more hyped for ME2 after watching that trailer than I have ever been.

It sent shivers down my spine to see Shepard float out into space struggling and trashing, and the same when I saw Tali sliding off the ship (being a tali-fan (not fanboy) notwithstanding).

Oh don't get me wrong, I loved the Blur trailer, but I can't say it was my favorite trailer of all time.

the trailer comes across more as an epic conclusion to the series than the sequel. what i'm saying is if bioware can show this much content for a sequel then i can't begin to imagine what the launch trailer for the third game will be.

Everything about this trailer struck the right chords for me. The situation feels so dire, and frankly I'm not even sure I'll be able to survive at the end. Bioware was not kidding when they said the story was going to go in a much more dangerous and scary place. I can't wait.
