One of the best trailers I've seen for a game ever.

heh, i downloaded the movie - i think it's an awesome trailer i'll watch again and again even after me2 has long since been released - but everytime it gets to the miranda/shepard scene? i close my eyes! why? first impressions play a big role when i play a game like mass effect and when i finally do see that scene in its entirety i want to see "my shepard" crossing the threshold with her.



i mean come on? who here, on their first playthrough, didn't pump a fist in the air when they saw "their shepard" walk out from under the wreckage of soverign at the end of me1? i never once before played a character that i felt so possesive over and it's having surprising effects.

I've downloaded it, and sometimes I just sit back and watch on a loop for 10 or 15 minutes.

I've certainly enjoyed the trailer, and I noticed something. Shepard called Tali out by her name, now correct if I'm wrong, but in the first game he only did that with Wrex and I think Joker. It would be a neat touch, if he referred to the squadnames like this, maybe even throw a nickname around. It would definitely work IMO with the trust system in place. Just my 2 cents...

someone on kotaku commented that it was similar to the avatar trailer (they used the words "generic epic trailer"). i can kinda see that, especially with the scoring, but both are so awesome some people just like to be jaded and cynical.

After watching it a few times, I was less surprised and awed by it. Still, it is very cool, theatrical, and all around awe-some. The voice acting, animation, and action have been seriously kicked up a notch, and this is the first real trailer to show us that.
