Dragon Age Keep and the world states

Obviously its just speculation and hopes since we don't have the full scope of what type of world states the Keep will let us do

But hopefully i can create a few world states of which to play about with in Inquisition.

So what type of world state does everyone hope to create? These are the choices I always make.

I kinda feel the opposite about Anders and Elthina

Elthina I think overall was a severe case of a dying breed trying to stick to the old ways and was very traditional, which in the modern politics of the games world was not going to work out. I think she's very good at proving to the audience that the Chantry no longer works as it is

So I always take pity on her and see her as a tragic figure...I do agree with Anders that the world needed to see just how bad it really is now...but I firmly believe Elthina did not deserve to die like that

He’s a polarizing character, and responses to that last act of his seem to vary from betrayal (“God dammit, Anders!”) to rage (“It was as if everything I despise about him exploded all over me… in a, uh, totally non-sexual way!”) to indignation (“Why didn’t he just ask me— I would have helped him!”) to support (“He’s awesome. People have a lot of different opinions about Anders and it was the devs idea from the beginning. He is too grey to make a true black or white judgement about him.

I rarely play male characters but I did on DAO, male human mage.

Romanced Morigan

Saved the mages

Saved the village and saved Conner and Isolde by going to circle for help. Intimidated the demon to GTFO forever AND teach me blood magic.

Sided with elves but made Zathrian break the cruse.

Accepted Kolgrim's offer, actually defiled the ashes. Did this before recruiting Wynne so she didn't even knew about it and didn't leave. Told Leliana to leave the party after the defiling. I let genitive to live and tell everyone about the ashes (I imagined their faces when they found out its defiled)

Allowed Branka to keep the anvil and Bhelen is king.

Alistair married Anora and Loghian spared.

Did the ritual with morrigan

As a boon requested freedom for circle of magi

Recruited Zevran as I needed a rouge because I told Leliana to gtfo

DA2

Female Mage

Sided with the mages

Carver became a Grey Warden

Romanced Anders (Friendship, supported his every action 100%, promised him to overthrow the templars)

Allowed Anders to live

Aveline married Donnic

Friend with Merril, Clan saved. Merril decided to help alienages.

Isabela returned the tome but got her ship and invited me and Anders to sail with her which my Hawke accepted and probably did after hell broke loose.

Spared Bartrand. Anders heals him temporarily and it seemed Varric wants him to live. (its actually true, if you let Barteand live it results in varric rivalry (+15) but if Anders heals bartand temporarily and you let him live then the result would be Varric (+15) friendship

Stopped Fenris from killing his sister

I'm sure this will be possible, as long as all of the parameters within a given world state don't conflict. For example, you won't be able to do the DR AND have your Warden commit the Ultimate Sacrifice.

I plan on making a few states just to play with. On the other hand, it really depends on the kind of reactivity that is in DAI. I'm expecting the same type of results that we saw in DA2 with some cameos, side quests, and so forth; which is perfectly fine with me.

Yeah i don't expect any massive effects on the world as I think that would be way to much for Bioware to attempt to do without ruining any expectations people have

I may stick with one world state but I think in Inquisition, I will make one of each race at least
Human Male, Elf Female, Dwarf Male and Qunari Female would be my choices

I've got six world states so far, and I'm planning to make two more. (One by playing both games again, and one by using the Keep to select all those options I never played through because they seemed pointlessly evil and/or stupid - stuff like killing Leliana and Wynne at the Ashes and letting Meredith off Bethany.) Four races and two genders means eight Inquisitors for me!

My 'personal canon' world state is as follows:

DAO:

- Female human noble rogue.

- Romanced and married Alistair.

- Sided with the mages and saved the Circle.

- Saved Redcliffe, and used the Circle ritual to save Connor.

- Preserved the Ashes and let Genitivi reveal them to the world.

- Convinced Zathrian to end the curse.

- Destoryed the Anvil of the Void.

- Harrowmont took the throne.

- Killed Loghain.

- Let Morrigan perform the ritual with Alistair.

- Recruited all possible companions (except Loghain) and kept everyone alive until the end of DAO.

- Let Avernus live, but told him to lay off the evil.

- Saved both Amaranthine and Vigil's Keep.

- Killed the Architect.

- Recruited all the Awakening companions. Oghren, Nathaniel and Velanna lived and remained at Vigil's Keep, but Sigrun was killed during the assault. (Anders and Justice ... well, it hardly matters, does it?)

Not my most interesting DAO worldstate by a long shot, but it's what I did first.

DA2:

- Female warrior Hawke.

- Sided with the mages, consistently and agressively.

- Bethany became a Grey Warden.

- Hawke was never close to Isabela, so she took off with the book and never came back.

- Feynriel went to live with the Dalish, and then subsequently left for Tevinter.

- Merrill's clan is alive.

- Aveline married Donnic.

- Fenris sided with the Templars and was killed in the final battle.

- Hawke rivalry romanced Sebastian, but that didn't turn out well because ...

- Hawke spared Anders.

Since I'm planning to beat Awakening as every single one of the PCs I beat Origins with, I'm hoping it allows imports into the Keep itself. Remaking all those World States would be kind of time-consuming.
