Page 6, why does Kai Leng look like a stoner on picture 3? I halfway expected him to ask Brooks if they should share a joint or something.

you'd have to be high to like these comics. So... I'm sure leng is self medicating.

well, they said a long time ago that foundation revolved around brooks. So, the next 7 issues will involve you know who too

I'm not high, but I look forward to them, just because the last game screwed over fans of these characters. This is basically my last chance to get any stories with them.

The art in the Homeworlds comics was downright terrible. Makes that preview look brilliant by comparison.

At least Cerberus being involved in this story makes some sense, unlike forcing them into every little piece of backstory available.

Now this is just embarrassing.

The art looks like it's straight from the conceptual phase, literally every second speech bubble expresses some kind of cliche and they continuously force Leng and Brooks into everything.

It's like they are not even trying anymore.

This is Mac, remember? He has a bad sense of situal awareness being a writer. Plus he's obsessed with Cerberus so Rasa is a reason for him to keep expanding on the only part of imagination he's got.

I think Brooks is kept around because she sums up a lot of things they already wanted to do with Leng. The original Thessia mission was meant to have Leng in this more deceptive/covert role. Or maybe it was multiple missions. It was tied into the Virmire Survivor's story - Leng was undercover as an Alliance rep planting ideas into Ash/Kaidan's head about how Shepard couldn't be trusted.

Last time Bioware commissioned a Mass Effect novel it... didn't go so well.

I only read Redemption, Evolution, Invasion, and Homeworlds (and I only read the Revelation novel)...

Is foundation really the monstrosity BSN is making it out to be, or is this BSN just being negative?
