It's not persecution, it's quarantine.

You know, being a mage isn't a requirement to cause death and destruction.

Normal people don't shoot fireballs out of their fingers and don't become corrupted killing machines when they sneeze.

There are many things/people that do that just as well, without magic (for example, Loghain).

He obtained power through warfare and politics, Mages are powerful at birth and are even more unpredictable.

Lol, which part of ALIVE Anders you didn't understand? He won't appear in your game if you use a save/keep that he is dead in.

Ah, but we will still probably have a Justice infested corpse to deal with/

People who expected Anders to not be a raving lunatic / gibbering beast in DA:I after the progression he had shown in DA2 had their expectations set a little too high.

Anders will possibly be long gone if Justice comes back in Inquistion..poor him. but he was also a fool for accepting his request. Never take a deal from anyone in the fade...I find it funny how he berates Merril yet he's done the samething

sigh. Justice, we'll likely put an end to him once and for all if he returns. I'll not like it if he'll still be in anders body x3 that'll just be sad..eeehh

Born differently? They were born with superhuman powers and have the greatest potential of becoming possessed by malicious supernatural entities and decimate an entire village.

Oh, so that makes it OK to persecute someone for something they might do?

That's like saying, "Oh, Saddam Hussein is an Iraqi, and a terrorist, therefore, we must kill/imprison all Iraqis because they have the greatest potential to become terrorists." You know, being a mage isn't a requirement to cause death and destruction. There are many things/people that do that just as well, without magic (for example, Loghain).

And yes, I know he's dead. And no, comparing fiction to history/realtiy is not a reason to go off at me.

That's not even a good comparison

troll harder

Maybe you need to look up the internet term, "troll."

The point of the comparison is that mages are known to cause death and destruction. Terrorists do the same.

Ahh so he is alive by canon? Oh that makes me frown, but I'm sure we'll be able to kill him and I can finally make his skin into a hat. Maybe one of those arrowcatchers. I love those hats!

Wow, that's a terrible comparison.

Terrorists require planning, indoc, and materials to cause death and destruction on a wide scale, Mages don't, in fact they can just lose it for a second and kill an entire village.

Correction. A Vengeance infested corpse. I don't think Justice's corruption would be reversed simply by Anders dying.

We don't know that for certain. I wouldn't be surprised if Anders' death ends up returning the spirit to the Fade. Maybe even a spirit of Vengeance, rather than of Justice.

Oh sweet, can we also break justice too? First annihilate and skin Anders, then go into the Fade and pwn Justice.

That would be cool.

Hey guys, hate to rain on the parade, but Gaider confirmed that Vengeance won't be just wearing a dead Anders suit if you killed Anders in DA2.

His corpse will remain dead. Justice/Vengeance may return in the Fade or some other host, but it won't be zombie Anders.

Actually your expectations are too low because you just made it very obvious you never romanced/friend Anders and never kept him alive. Because the Anders who talks to you before final battle is NOTHING close to a lunatic or a beast. He is changed, almost as if awakening Anders is back, but more serious.

Anyway

The emotion Justice is very complicated even on its purest form. Say someone kills your brother and you find the murderer and kill him. Its Justice right? But is also Vengeance? It is. Comparing Justice to other kind of spirits which are: Valor, Compassion, Faith and Hope we can easily see that Justice is the most complicated benevolent human emotion.

What you linked us to does not deny that Vengeance could possess the corpse.

Justice is capturing the murderer alive and letting the powers that be decide his faith.

I never suspected there to be a possessed zombie Anders. Justice or Vengeance is most likely back in the Fade or came back from the Veil Tear
