That's what I wondered too. At worst, she'd go to prison for a few years, which is really not so terrible that she should have to resist arrest with her life. But she did. It would make me suspect she's perhaps guilty of even worse things than drugs.

In truth, that's probably just stupid writing.

... as for Elnora, I let her go, as I feel like shooting her would make my canon Earthborn a bit of a hypocrite.

Not sure what kind of psychotic world you're living in, but most "hot-headed teenagers" don't go around killing people and gleefully brag about it like a badge of honor to their friends. Pretty poor rationalizing on your part, honestly... and a little scary.

I don't care if my Shepard or anyone else in my group is a murderer. It's just like I said: "You're in an enemy uniform and I'm going to kill you!" (That's Jack talking to Elnora). Samara's and Thane's recruitment missions are some of the funnest to leave a trail of destruction with. edit: Maybe I just don't like Eclipse.

I'm a little torn on Javik. I think he deserves some peace, but I wouldn't give myself the same advice. I'd want to remember the past and old crew. Not block it out. That's a big reason why I hate ME3.. because I do remember.

Indeed, but then again, you never faced a situation where you are truly the last of your kind.

Considering the way you made Elizabeth Shepard out to be, why not have her lose patience with Talitha and have C-Sec "clear this bay within sixty seconds? Plus, why would she allow Conrad to live so long?

Maybe she's claustrophobic. And at her age, a few years is too many; why not simply force her to retire and become a social worker?

With Talitha, it was the only playthrough that I chose colonist for a background.  And with Conrad most of the time I ignore him in ME1. If he does make it to ME3 I let him live.

Helena Blake - I let her go and she merged her organization into Aria's in ME2

Forvan - Forced him to drink his own poison

Talitha - Didn't exist for me. Spacer / War Hero

Maya Brooks - Spared her and sent her to prison. Killed the Shepard clone.

Fist - Killed by Wrex

Javik - Went to the graves of his men and committed suicide. The Echo Shard scene is too good to miss

Refund Guy -  Got him his refund

Thax and the Asari Thief - Goods returned to Mr. Thax.

Quarian Kenn -  Helped him get more business. I kind of felt like paying his way would invalidate his pilgrimage. So I had Shepard help him instead of do it for him.

Conrad Verner -  Survived the series and was last seen walking off with Jenna

Shiala - Spared her.

Rana Thanoptis -  Killed her on Virmire

Gianna Parasini - Helped her take down Anoleis. Completed her mission in ME2.

Joram Talid -  Stopped Thane's son from murdering him

Sidonis: Helped Garrus line up a head shot

Don't jump to conclusions; this is the Mass Effect universe we're talking about, in which it seems killing is a natural part of life...

And as I said before, Thane, Jack, Miranda, Wrex, Zaeed, and possibly even Garrus are murderers too.

Rana Thanoptis - It's most amusing to tell her to leave before the whole place explodes. My Shepard(s) enjoyed that.

Gianna Parasini - Having Shepard give the evidence to Lorik and tell Parasini that he did it because he just doesn't like her was hilarious.

Joram Talid - Alive, more times than not.

Sidonis - Letting Garrus kill him is my favorite solution, whether it's done right away or they make him talk first. My main Shepard let Garrus shoot him the first chance she had.

I've never killed Rana. I really need to sometime. :P

Gianna: Usually help her. Though one time i turned in the Hanar and stayed out of their investigation.

Joram usually survives. Though last time he didn't.

Sidonis only survives in my purest of Paragon runs. :P

Actually, Rana does survive in the scene I described. I think it's the middle/neutral dialogue option. She just gets scared and runs away, and then Garrus said to my Shepard, "You enjoyed that."

Yeah, I've done the 'run away' dialogue. My Shepard likes to put the scare into people.

Because it's unjust. Crime should be punished or atoned for in some capacity. And then I just can't get behind letting a known criminal -- one ready to take over the 'ring -- walk completely free, and trust that she won't give into the temptation of going back for ... whatever reason. That's not to say that her doing social work isn't a good outcome. I just don't approve of doing what it takes for that to happen. It was neither agreed upon nor forseeable at the time of the decision.

As for the new ones...

Rana: let her go. Unfortunate, but I still think my decision was sound, given what I knew at the time.

Joram: stopped Kolyat. I feel like assassinating him would just add more fuel to his anti-human cause.

Gianna: helped her rat Anoleis. Then helped her nail an asari.

Yeah, I always help Gianna nail the Asari. That's just fun. ;)

My heart sinks when I read the consequential news report, So:

I am forced to "headcanon" executing her in a soft-spoken, apologetic, and gentle manner, because my Shepard has a divinely given gift of foresight... Requisite et Pace.

Why be gentle? She's studying indoctrination, using live test subjects. Do you feel bad if Henry Lawson gets killed too?

Surely, you can pardon/forgive/overlook a bit of past drug-dealing in exchange for the vital information leading to the successful down-bringing of, not one, but two notorious slavers?

Yeah, this exchange is a little serious for my tastes. Take care.

Shiala - If she's still alive in ME2, then I have to watch her flirt with my Shepards. So I'd prefer having her killed off in ME1 just to avoid that, but I don't let it influence my roleplaying. MainShep let her live, actually.

Flirting isn't a crime, even if some people would like to think so.
