Not exactly. The way I see it Dryden wanted to dismiss a tyrant. She failed obviously but I don't think she wanted to rule Ferelden. As opposed to the first warden who mostly rules The Anderfells through a puppet king.

I think Sophia was a person who was both heroic and ambitious. She was next in line for the throne and the guy she opposed was a tyrant so the only thing standing in her way was the inconveinance of her Grey Warden oath.

Tevinter is ruled by the magisters and the Archon. That haven't changed. I doubt we are going to have all of their names this time (we meet a few in the previous games).

Nevarra is ruled by Markus Pentaghast, but he's old and apparently sick. Might be totally unimportant with Cassandra in your Inquisition though...

The Anderfels are ruled by a king, but the Grey Wardens are the real power there and there are rumors that the First Warden might be planning a coup to crown himself (I can not see ending well).

Rumored Talks of DA4----You didn't hear this from me---Hint,hint, nudge,nudge, wink, wink....in DA4, Cassandra will be playing a major part in the play for power in Nevarra with the other countries like Ferelden, Orlais, Free Marches, Tevinter, and The Anderfels trying to cause conflict. 
   Now, mind you its only rumor....

Does anyone remember what the name of the current ruler of the Anderfels is? And the name of his 8-year-old son? I (think I) remember reading it when I did that war table quest with the present, but I can't seem to remember the exact names or find the information anywhere..
