And look at what they did on the left to Marilyn Monroe... A shame.

Great! I have been waiting for the collection. Bohoo for having to wait until June. :)
It's actually kind of cool to see Chad Hardins take on the characters and his art style. I have grown to like him very much. This cover is made by A. Palumbo though. I'm not sure I'm with him aaaaall the way.

His look evolved over the series, but it's consistent within each volume, if not exactly mimicking the game appearance.

I think you're referring to Mae. She never appeared on a cover before (I don't think), but her actual design in the comics was really strong.

Cool.

I'm not really a comics guy, but I found the series to be really great. Alexander Freed did a tremendous job, and I think David's story was a lot of fun. The art also appeared consistently good.

I probably won't pick this up since I already have all the hard-copy compilations, but I can definitely recommend it to those who don't already have the whole series (if it's anything like its predecessors, print quality should be fairly good).

Awesome! I really enjoyed the DA comics, I have each of the 3 in hardcover and actually went and ordered two copies each of Those Who Speak and Until We Sleep as I was so psyched for them lol!

In this new oversized format, I might just be tempted to pick it up. I agree with devSin, the art and presentation are of a fantastic standard throughout, I was tempted to pick up the first volume hard cover collection of the Mass Effect comics but since there's so many series the art does get a bit hit and miss.

Its interesting how the description says "Helping set the stage for... Dragon Age Inquisition", I'm sure David Gaider himself has said that these comics are additional to the story of the games, they're not integral to it - but we shall see I guess.

Not interested in the comics. The novels are one thing and The World of Thedas book is another because they do not directly involve main game characters so people won't be able to pull out the 'canon stick' to annoy people. (Except Wynne but Asunder expands on what ultimately happens to her and i daresay so will Inquisition). Besides, I can see at least two things being put in Inquisition that the comic covers. King Maric and the Mage effing around in the Fade.

But other people seem happy about this, so happy reading!

Nice cover. I already have all the comics, but this will be good for anyone who was waiting to buy them.

So, if this edition is "Volume 1", does that mean more comics are on the way?

I still don't get why Dragon Age starts with an Eth. I never have.

For the same reason that the horizontal line in the G strikes into the O. Style. I really doubt they thought the D might be mistaken for an Eth when they designed the logo.

Edits: As for why they designed it like that, I cannot say. For my sake, they might as well have written it in Times New Roman.
