I've mentioned im really looking forward to the "court room" type trial scenarios where i determine who should be put to death or what to do about a thief.
What decisions are looking forward to?
I enjoyed that in Awakening, and I hope similar choices are available in Inquisition (based on the artwork of the Tal-Vashoth Inquisitor preceding over a man while sitting on a throne). I'm also hoping there's a choice in helping the elves in the Dales, even if it costs me any alliance with Celene or Gaspard. I'd like the choices to reflect who you are, like the ones in New Vegas, rather than being good versus bad choice.
I always imagined that in a situation such as this, To have the Orlesian nobility / Monarchy agree to suceed land to the Dalish and give them back the Dales The Inquisitor would have to help them get land elsewhere. So to get the dales back for the Dalish we have to lend our support and assistance to Orlais in reconquering Ferelden.
Would be interesting to see what people choose in such a scenario were it presented. Me? I don't know what i'd choose.. I don't know if I could avoid the bias to favoring my Warden (him being the prince-consort with my humans and Chancellor to a weak monarchy for my dwarves)
I'd probably favor Orlais over most others besides maybe Nevarra though mainly due to how much strength they could lend to my cause being a superpower.
As to the OP's question, I most look foward to the court sessions like you mentioned in your post, as well as deciding the fate of Monarchies deciding who rules the nation etc.

Decision that also touches on issues that while not critical, are very helpful in gaining an insight into who the characetr is and what she believes in. Maybe the decision won't lead to the mages finally being free, but just being able to raise the voice in support would be big enough for me. Or to discuss one's loyalty to the Chantry and faith in the maker (or lack thereof). Talk about the importance of family.
The big ones would of course be nice too. But I'm fairly certain we'll get them and I also feel they're less helpful in fleshing out a character than the small ones.

Well, I recall laidlaw mentioning in an interview that they're trying to work harder on what made DA:O special, the tougher moral dilemmas. To that end, I'd like to see Choices/Consequences less in "the cost is high for the greater good" category and more in the emotionally-tugging variety. I'd like to see romantic relationships causing major dilemmas between both yourself and other NPCs/Party Members.
Besides that, I'd say to BioWare "Surprise me".
The man himself said that? In that case, I'll take that as good news, as DA:O really did show the way as far as C&C goes. The golem-decision in particular I liked.

If we're talking more along the lines of World-impacting decisions, I am most interested in the military calls the Inquisitor gets to make as the leader of this seemingly paramilitary organization. Managing keeps, deploying agents/soldiers, influencing the perception of the Inquisition. Junk like that.

And of course the little things like helping the common folk through good deeds. Personally really loved helping Kaitlyn and Bella in Red Cliffe, warmed my heart.
