Waste of resources all in all tbh.

I like what Jonathan Perry's saying about scenes being more about the culmination of a relationship, though. We could follow that track all day and I'd be happy.

Worry less about titillating horny fans and more about telling an actual story that can acknowledge sex without leering at it like that few seconds of underboob were the point of every dialogue tree.

I want to get off to rasterized sex scenes while increasing my Libido through High resolution quality texture maps and almost orgasm instantly when Dat engine applies Ray tracing

I found the sex scenes in DA:O rather boring and ridiculous.  DA2 was more of the same.  TW was far more entertaining, but still ridiculous in terms of context.

Personally, I like the direction of the sex scenes in the ME series (though I haven't seen them all).  I also think the scenes involving Triss in TW2 were done beautifully, and hope TW3 has more of the same quality scenes.  That level of explitity is probably too high for DA:I though.  Following the example of Mass Effect is probably the best way to go.

I'm not ashamed to say I enjoy the eye candy.  But it is ten times better in the right context, such as with companions you actually give a damn about because you know their story.  That's what was wrong with TW's sex scenes.

Done right, these scenes can do wonders for character development.  Done wrong, it can come off as cheap.

I don't really support the sex scenes at all. Bioware has this habit of making it feel that "Sex" is the "Final Reward" when pursuing a relationship. Arguably the most abysmal representation of human affection ever. Well, at least the most unintentionally abysmal representation. I'm sure they mean no harm by it, but that's how it comes off to me at least.

I thought the m/m scene inDA:O looked normal since nothing is shown but you also don't see any underwear because of the angle and no bras to worry about. Maybe it was different on the PC, but on console Geralt wore weird dirty pantaloon things in every sex scene. You saw boobs but nothing else, and boobs alone are shown in PG13 movies no problem.

Oh, that's nothing. The whole game is riddled with scenes like this. Jake (the main character) can participate in whole orgies while fully-clothed.

My favourite scene is when he has fully-clothed sex with a girl right after saving her from a fat rapist. Because nothing puts a girl in the mood like narrowly dodging rape!

Oh my god, I loved his review, it was freaking hilarious. He also put it as his Number 1 in his recent Worst Games of 2013 video.
