I haven't played any of the Witcher games so I will refrain from commenting on those.

However, I will say that I hope that we don't see a return of the scenes from DA:O. Those were just awkward to watch. If anything, I would like to see a return of the kind of scenes we saw in the Mass Effect series since they did those quite well, ME1 in particular.

Which just sounds like another way of pulling off what they did in the Austin Powers movies. Or maybe heavy kissing and touching a butt could symbolize that they just had sex.

Bioware really sounds like they want to treat romance more seriously in DAI so I am excited. They want the scenes t be a culmination of time spent and not a conclusion. I like that the scenes and the parts they play will be treated more adult like.

But honestly sex never felt like a prize in DA2. In fact their was still ton of romance content available after the scene.

I honestly like that they are taken inspiration from Me for future sex scenes. I dont want a porno but veiled nudity is ok. I mean personally the scenes in ME handled sex the best overall but I really liked Liaras scene in ME3. It made sense, did not have any out of place clothing, and never showed and real nudity thanks to camera view and character position. I mean we see a butt and a little side breast but nothing "bad" at all.

Well, sure. I like them too, if done well. My biggest issue is the granny panties and training bras. There was nothing more strange than watching Morrigan saunter over...in a bathing suit. It was cringe-worthy to me, and made me feel all funny inside. Mostly because it just didn't seem like something that fit her personality.

I felt quite a bit less strange in the beginning of The Witcher 2. Then again, my demographic may not be the one BioWare is going for.

You're right; I felt they were better in DA2. Best in ME. I didn't see Liara's scene in ME3, but I liked hers in the first ME. If they go in that direction, instead of following the Traynor hot tub route, that would be optimal.

Hands are insanely tough to do, almost as tough as cinematic collision work, though I think that's being solved somewhat by increased use of MoCap.

I know I couldn't draw them to save my life, so I'm certainly not meaning to throw stones. I just wish that they'd spend a little more time on them; in or out of the bedroom.

In all seriousness, I'm not particularly interested in watching sex scenes. I'd prefer fade to black (with lots of dialogue and intimacy before and after), but if they have it in mind to do the scenes tastefully, then go for it, DA team. I'm very much in favor of anything that adds to the emotional impact of the moment. I'm not in favor of trying to turn on players. That's what porn is for. (So now zooming in on anyone's rear or letting the camera slowly pan up and down someone's (usually a woman's) body)
