i was thinking of her as a companion in da3 since in the end of the mark of the assassin she said "we'll meet again someday". anyhow she is really great with the special talent tree she has and through great as hell!!
i will hope to see her in da3 (don't compare that pretty thing to that stupid merril)

I still cant forgive bioware not letting me kill or at least fight her at the end of mark of the assassins. So if she will be in inquisition I hope I can take revenge for my hawke

People seem to have a hard time separating Tallis from Felicia Day IMO. I bet Tallis wouldn't get all this hate if she was voiced by someone else.

Anyways to answer the question, I'd like her back as an agent or something, but only if it makes sense plotwise.

And yet again it has been discussed previously.

Felicia Day.What can I say.
Geeks and Sundry.Did the youtube series.Became friends or so it seems with the developers.
was allegedly allowed to pick one of 3 scripts that were written for MOTA.
Her face was used as the model for Tallis.

Was at the NY comicon back late last year.So were Gaider and Laidlaw.I wonder if they spoke to her.

I don't have anything against Day.I don't believe others who say they don't.I believe some players do have something against her.I think they feel she didn't deserve a VA role in DA2.
I think she gets compared in some  players minds to Jessica Chobot. ME fans feel Chobot was forced upon them, or so it seems because she worked for IGN at the time and some players feel Day was chosen for somewhat similar reasons.I don't agree with the negative views towards Day,   This is my opinion of why she is viewed unfavorably by some players.Just my opinion.

Also of course MOTA was not well  written imo. Tallis too felt forced upoin hawke and there wasn't a sufficient reasoning applied by the writer as to why hawke needed to help her or even why he/she should care.
The romance like the other DA2 romances felt shallow and there simply wasn't enough interaction bewtween Hawke and Tallis for me to see them as a couple/lovers..

Gaider is mercurial enough to say blank the fans and have her back in as a party member but since we supposedly have Sera, another female elf it wouldn't make sense to have Sera and Tallis together. So I feel reasonably sure Tallis won't be a party member in DAI.
She could still be an npc or an agent and I feel one of those is a likely possibility.

I'm SO GLAD an INTELLIGENT Tallis supporter started this thread...

We all know she won't be a companion. Chances are though, she will return in some capacity other than merely having a codex about her (which is unlikely without an appearance in the game anyway, I suspect).

I'm hoping she returns, 'cause I liked her character as much as I did, say, Sebastian. My 4th Hawke who not only romanced Anders (but had to kill him since she sided with the templars), also romanced Tallis (Anders was not present at Chateau Haine). So, I really, really want to see an outcome to her falling for Tallis.

This is because we weren't able to chat to the characters whenever we wanted, and because BioWare wasn't given enough time to allow us to have detailed conversations with the companions about non-companion quest related things.

Like I said, I'll like her back only if it makes sense. For example...

...if  she is now a Tal Vasoth, I would be a fool not to recruit Tallis, her knowledge and her abilities make her very useful in hunting filthy blood mages aiding the Inqusition. 

And even if she's still Qunari, Tallis could act as the Inquisition's ambassador for the Qunari, because the Fade tear affects all of Thedas and the Inquisition needs all the help it can get.

I'd say it's the other way around, actually.

The only way I'd accept a major appearance by her is if we were able to recover the list of Qunari sleeper agents. I'd certainly spend quite a lot of quality time crossing off names in between major quests.

I hate Tallis because she is Qunari. Simple as.

Add in all that La_Mer said, and the fact she spouts her brainwashed Qun gibberish at me and we don't get an effective way to counter it. Her views on mages are typically appalling as one might expect from a Qunari. You threaten to kill her but in actual fact you're powerless to actually carry out that threat for no good reason, Hawke just stands there.

And that vile little Qunari assassin gets her way. We can't kill her, take the list from her or hand it to the Orlesian dude.
