I finally got around to playing Legacy in Dragon Age II and Corypheus’ ramblings came off as rather interesting and foreboding to me while I listened to it. It got me thinking about the Architect and the events in Awakening and The Calling. I could be completely wrong, but please bear with me.
What if the Architect was also one of the Tevinter Magisters? His armor style and the style chosen for Corypheus speak of mage robes. This means that down the line we will (or might) be seeing more of the magisters who entered the Golden City and were cast out as the first the darkspawn.
While Corypheus was confused and rather disoriented, he really sounded as if he’d come from back then. There was just too much in way he spoke and seemed to believe it that made it hard to think that he was telling a lie.
It’s just a thought though, and I could be wrong.
