For those of you saying you can't find my Manifest, you just click my name in this thread then click the games tab, then click "Mass Effect 3"

Can't actually click ME3 that way.  I can on my own profile but not on yours.

That used to work way back when if memory serves, but I think bioware disabled the ability to look at peoples manifest that way, **** knows why.

That's why some people put links to their manifest in their sig now instead.

Honestly, I put my manifest in my sig so that I could find it again without repetitive clicking. That others feel like looking at it doesn't matter to me.

Yeah, you can only find your own N7HQ that way.

What's your gamertag/origin id/psn id, OP?

As one other poster said, that USED to be how you let people see your manifest. I only came back this last christmas after a little over a year away from the game. Back then I remember getting told to Enable that thing in my profile so people could see my manifest, but things changed, I put my manifest in my sig now.

Also, I am on PC and I go by theTman1221

Edit: Should I make a new thread on the topic of picking the right kit and gear, or keep going in this one since I got all of you in here helping me already.

Edit Edit: Also, I had another question. When I was playing as a Talon Merc, I was getting 2-3 times my usual score and topping leader boards (Without cain spamming or cheesing), but I was dying a lot more, and often in seemingly stupid ways. It was worst in my last game which was my first silver game and it was at London Versus the Reapers. I may have been carrying that group as I got 70k score, then next got 40k, then a couple 20k ranges for the last 2. I used all my ops survival kits and medi-gels and got downed then executed on wave 9 when I went down and had no medi-gel left. Maybe I just need to find reliable people to play with?

It might be worth concentrating on one kit at a time, and change the thread's title each time you change the focus of conversation, some people only read the threads title and not the preceeding posts.

Looking at the weapons you have currently, my instinct is to put the mattock, tempest or raptor on him (and honestly I'm not really sure about the raptor). Tempest in particular with benefit greatly from his weapons passives and it's not a bad gun for an uncommon. Mattock you fire as fast as you can click your shoot button so I'm not sure his weapons stuff would help you that much. But it's a solid weapon.

Piranha and Eagle would also be solid choices but I'm not sure how serviceable they are at lower levels. I've never once tried out the Revenant but I've seen it discussed in conjunction with Turian stability passives so I'd assume that would work as well.

I'd highly recommend the Arc Pistol on the TSent - it does excellent damage when charged, even at low levels. The only issue I see is your lack of a pistol piercing mod.

OP, this Human Sentinel build might be a good build for you. Decent durability, good mobility, power dependent. Acolyte + Throw is pure murder on mooks, Warp softens armor for your Tempest and your squad's weapons (your lack of piercing mods is your biggest problem right now) and Warp + Throw destroys armor (along everything else). Acolyte would be best paired with Incendiary Ammo, but on Silver, that's really not needed.

This will rip staff apart. My recomendation - go into either platinum HoF or gold speedrun HoF and watch some TSent arc pistols solos so you catch the idea.

Also, original thread.

Well, I solved my issue with settling on a kit. Before I had said I felt the N7 Fury was flimsy, but I realized she was plenty tough and very maneuverable. I finally realized how foolhardy I had been as I was charging spawns attempting to nuke them with AF and Throw LOL! I've gotten a better feel for her now and don't feel so squishy. I'll try her on silver tomorrow.

Well, I'm back to the turian sentinel again LOL! While the fury was great for me on bronze, she was too squishy on silver for me. One volley from a mook takes her shields down, and I'm not coordinated well enough to use her agility to it's greatest effect. I should probably stick to tanky characters after all. I had the same issue on the talon merc. That kit was a glass cannon. I was topping the leaderboard, but dying a crapload of times due to only having 625 shields.
Right now I am looking at either kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#43!2421525!!..82!BC9A5O or kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#43!2421525!!..82!5F9A5O

The first one seems popular, but with everyone saying power damage isn't as important as debuffs and weapon damage I would think that trading 30% power damage bonus for 25% more armor weakening would be best. Also having 6 ranks in warp would allow for more powerful biotic explosions if I happen to have a teammate to make blusplosions with.

The second build is better. I love the arc pistol on him, but with the way you have it set up, drill or ap ammo are mandatory. Also, others have mentioned that the mattock is a good option for him, and it's much easier to get to X than the arc pistol. I watched DragonRacer put a hurting on cerberus with her TSent Mattock today :)

Both builds are good. I would go for the first one. Power damage is a poor choice for his passives, but is a good option on TA, your OL will OH strip the shields from gold phantoms and leave plat phantoms with one-two bars of shields. It as well adds some deeps vs boss-shields.

But whatever flout your boat. I reccomend you to watch some gold/plat solos with that loadout.

Lastly, if you out of piercing ammo, you can alwasy substitute mag for piercing mod and run "naked" - totally ok for silver.

P.S. once you try TSent, there is no way back. He is so comfortable and reliable like an... like a good old AK/AKM (or, how americans call it, AK-47/AK-74), you will try new kits, but you will always came back whenever you need some reliable guy to do the job.

I guess once I get a piercing mod the extra armor weakening might not be such a big deal, but for the moment I don't have a piercing mod, and my supplies of consumable items is quite lacking.

Sorry man, I forgot you don't have it.
You can run naked as is, it's a deal but not such a big deal for silver. Though AP/Drill ammo I will make a huge difference for atlases and crabs.

Well, I think I found an even better character for myself than the turian sentinel. I dug up my geth engineer and built it based off of StarduskLP's "Overload Spammer" build, except I had to respec him to opt out of hunter mode as though it has useful bonuses, the strain on my eyes from using it impacts my performance greatly. I am currently rocking: kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#35!2421581!!..41!8.8EG and it is working great for me on silver. Similar to the arc pistol Tsentinel setup where overload is mainly for cc/ stun followed by shooting the enemy, and the turret is very handy. I toss the little bugger ahead of me to scout out blind spots, or over obstacles to reach the action before I can reach the enemy on foot. He does fairly decent with his flamer on burning the bigger nasties too. The turret is also great to throw down next to myself when my shields go down and I need a quick boost. StarduskLP pointed out that even without speccing for shield healing, the turret can give you enough shields so that you have the shieldgate back up to protect you in a pinch. I have also discovered that the turret will try to shoot through walls to reach spawns across the map if nothing is closer. This is actually useful as I can watch where it fires at the start of a wave and then know where the first spawn is. It also helps when I am having trouble finding the remaining enemies as I just watch where the turret shot goes.

GE is a solid kit, as a TSent he is the kit which is very powerfull but not OP.
In my opinion (mind you, just my) he lacks a bit vs bosses, but his mook killing capabilities... sometimes I think he can rival GI in this.

Turret is handy, but it doesn't refresh shieldgate (only lolpacks do) ... OMFG WHAT DID YOU DO, WHY ON EARTH ONE WOULD SKIP HUNTER MODE???????

Seriously, no HM? no weapon passives? He is a gimped version of the gimped version (no warp) of TSent.

Read my post again. I said that the visual effect of hunter mode is really hard on my eyes personally. It severly hurts my performance. I know he is better with it, but not if I can't play with it on. My eyes were bugging me for 10 minutes after the 1 match I used it in. Some people can handle it, some can't. I found out I'm one who can't.

Also, haven't you seen StarduskLP's Overload spammer GE. He specced into power passives for that build. I did the same, but without the HM weapon boosts, but the 6b evolution of the class passive.

Power damage buffs increase the damage output from the turret. With a decent amount of power damage buffs it can put out some significant damage, especially since I only go as high as silver in difficulty.

Hunter mode hurts my eyes too. I run a few kits with it (or the geth scanner) but can't play them many rounds in a row. Kind of like my old lady hands and charged weapons... one or two rounds then I have to switch to something else.

Does the geth scanner put that annoying white decal on the screen, or just highlight enemies? If it only highlights enemies through walls etc. but doesn't have that annyoing screen overlay I think I could handle it.

Geth Scanner does put up the same overlay as Hunter Mode but it's less bright so you might be alright with it. Give it a shot anyway.

Also, try turning your brightness down in the options menu. I play on -2, but you may have to go lower. I believe there is also a mod floating around to reduce the overlay, but I'm not sure.

What he said. You should definitely use Hunter Mode; the damage bonus/movement speed & wallhax are invaluable.

This is what I'd go with. I know you have an Eviscerator; if you have a better shotgun (Wraith, Claymore, Piranha) you can try it, or go with the Arc Pistol. The Saber is also a great fit.
