I've seen this scene twice now, where Ashley is bitten by a collector bug in the back.

I assume she dies with the rest of the colonists...

Way to take out a ME1 LI, eh.

ME1 LI's are supposed to last throughout the trilogy.  Thus, the reason why they aren't incorporated into your "suicide mission" squad.

How do you know that's Ashley...? Seems kind of counterproductive to specifically keep a character OUT of a game in order to allow them to survive until ME3, and then kill them off anyways.

No, devs said Ashley/Kaidan/Liara survive through to ME3.



Also, being taken by the Collectors doesn't automatically= dying.

Totally agree here.   Collectors....COLLECT. The bugs simply put the individuals into a stasis, from there, the collectors come and collect them for "netharius" purposes.

Why you assume Ashley is dead ?

That little bugs stund people ,  then they are transfered to collectors ship .

We will see Ash in ME 3 for sure

Only questionable thing is will we see Shepard in ME3 , it would be bad to play as Conrad Verner

A lot of people like myself, that are avoiding spoilers are not watching things like the Sci vs Fi special and wouldn't have seen either of these videos. Therefore it is a spoiler. I don't care, I hated her and in all my games she's a pile of scattered ashes anyway, but I'm sure many would have been annoyed by the title. Thank you for changing it.

I'm curious... if Ashley was my ME1 love interest, and she gets "collected" and experimented on/converted/killed whatever... how will that affect my ME2 love interest? Curious....

I seen this coming a mile away. My author sense was tingling. I knew they would take Ashley. Oh god, I hope this doesn't end horribly. Now that the damsel in distress is in effect they could do anything plot wise. I have a vague feeling it's going to end badly for someone, no matter what.

I know, but all it takes is a single sting for the poison to work. I can tell she is finished. With there being no good romance options I care for this game it is going to be a lonely road.

For the LAST time, the devs have said repeatedly that one of the main reasons they kept your LIs from ME1 out of your squad is because they want them to be in ME3. She is NOT going to die. Unless you are presented with the option to kill her/make a choice. If there is even a chance she dies, there will be a far better one she survives.

I think it is good that the LI is being kidnapped, assuming it is the love interest, not just Kaidan/Ashley, I kinda doubt Liara will be in that part of the game. It's more involvement than I thought they would get, and because we know they ARE NOT GOING TO DIE, it means that even if you don't get to chat it up with them, you obviously still care about them. Even though that totally makes the cheating option... a thousand times meaner.

That doesn't mean Shepard doesn't save her from them before she is taken.

But yeah, this makes me feel better for choosing the one who has the 100% chance of pregnancy over the >2% with Ashley.
