A few years back I remember watching a series of 24 that involved the White House being under seige.
That series wasn't the best 24 series (though an okay series of 24 is still amazing television), but it had one of the most nail biting moments of 24.
I enjoyed the White House under seige scenario a lot (even though I was pointing out how ridiculuous it was and how it would never work in real life). That said in 2013 there were two films about this very scenario.
White House Down
Olympus Has Fallen
Which of those two films was better? (Yes I know both films had poor reviews).

Nope, they're just average action flicks, nothing more. Having said that, I think I prefer White House Down. At least it didn't try to take itself all that seriously.
