converting Prop.mat to static.mat .MAO

I have an exterier level that uses some prp_ models. These prp models have "prop.mat" in there .MAO files that pevent them from being seen a long ways on exterier levels. I want to convert the .MAO file to "static.mat" so that I can make these objects not fade out. Does anyone know what steps I should take, or be careful of when changing the .MAO file?

Static.mat requires 2 sets of texture coordinates in the msh file. If that msh doesnt have 2 sets it wont work properly.
