After reading all ingame codex entries and dragon age books/comics I think bioware did a really great job in creating an interesting universe with countries, places and nations rich in variety.
I would like to hear what is in your opinion the most intersting nation/place in der Dragon Age world and why? Which one would you like to learn more about or even visit in Inquisition?
Some of the placed/nations:
- Anderfels
- Antiva
- Ferelden
- Free Marches (Kirkwall, Starkhaven)
- Nevarra
- Par Vollen
- Orlais
- Rivain
- Seheron
- Tevinter Empire
- Dwarf Places (More about the Deep Roads or Ozrammer)
- Dales (elves land)
-.The Fade (Black City)
Most interesting place in the Dragon Age universe

Tevinter is a place we hear crazy things about, but never seen. It needs to be explored more from a gameplay point of view & not just hearing or reading about it.

I personally find Antiva to be the most interesting, because it's the homeland of the Antivan Crows. The Crows are an awesome organization; basically controlling all of Antiva. I hope we can venture there during Inquisition, I really want to know more about them.

I'm really looking forward to Orlais. Especially the court politics. *grabby hands*
Other than that, I'd like to see Par Vollen soon.

I hope we'll one day see a game that's set in northern Thedas, with places like Tevinter, Seheron, Rivain, Par Vollen and Anderfels.

Rivain and Kont-aar
Kont-aar - a Qunari settlement located on the northern coast. It's the last holding of the Qunari on the main land of Thedas and is supposed to be well fortified. It is also the sole peaceful Qunari settlement on the continent

Potentially the Fade, depending where they go with it.
Wherever the quests are meaningful and life isn't dumbed down.

I completely agree about Orlais. I would love to play a game centered on a player of The Grand Game. It would be like Hitman with fancy hats, ridiculous dialogue and coercion checks.

Tevinter because of the mage power, Orlais because of all the mentions from previous games, Seheron and Par Vollen because i want to know more about the Qunari.

To me everything most interesting is in the north. Tevinter, Par Volen, Seheron, Rivain and the Anderfels all seem most fascinating or exotic to me.

Agreed. I'd also love it if we could find out who Anders really is/was.

I want to see Weisshupt or however you spell it, Rivan, and Antiva.
For some reason Tevinter holds no interest for me even though I have played all the way through both games as a mage.

Anyplace to the north of Ferelden is fine by me. Par Vollen, Antiva, Rivain, and the Anderfels especially. I want to get a taste of all of the different cultures Thedas has to offer. I want to learn more about the Qunari, learn more about the Antivan Crows, see what life in Rivain is like, and visit the Weisshaupt Fortress.
I would also like to visit Starkhaven and find out how Sebastian is handling being prince.

Of the actual countries, in that order: Nevarra, Tevinter, Kal-Sharok, Par Vollen/Seheron and Rivain.

I want to go to Tevinter, I love the design of this place. Clothes and make up with weapons look soo dark and uhhh no words lol
2nd place I want to visit is Arlathan, I mean this place is where the powerfull and immortal elves were so yh its kind a cool. Imagine if the city still exists, I know it was sucked under the ground/water still no one knows what happened after. Maybe theres still some elves sleeping there ... mystery after mystery woooo...

I'm going to go with what many others have said and cast my vote in with Tevinter. It has such a different culture that what we've seen in the Dragon Age games so far. Not to mention that we've heard a fair bit about it from characters and in lore so I kind of want to see it from a gameplay aspect.
Aside from that, I'd choose Par Vollen for the same reason.

Any place that is not Ferelden, Free Marches, Anderfels, and maybe Antiva.
Why? Because ultimately they all feel generic and bland compared to other places.
