With a weak monarchy and the Grey Wardens wielding a lot of power and influence in the kingdom, there is lots of room for the devs to create a plot filled with scheming and intrigue. Also, Grey Wardens.

Aeonar for me too, and Inquisition seems like the perfect time to feature it if they're ever going to.

I'd love to see Tevinter and the Anderfels. Tevinter because it'd be interesting to see exactly how a magocracy works and the Anderfels because of the whole grey warden political stuff. I'd also like to see that sulfur lake area southwest of Orlais just because it sounds cool.

I have a thing for the Deep Roads. I can't wait to stand on the edge of the The Abyssal Reach.
And I'm very curious about the arid Anderfels. Hopefully we'll be able to visit Weisshaupt Fortress someday.

Ferelden, Par Vollen, Orlais and Neverra. I'd also like to visit the Anderfels simply to see Weisshaupt Fortress. I'm indifferent about Rivain and Antiva, and I couldn't care less about going to Tevinter.

Never thought I'd agree with the Deep Roads, but I do. Some of the most desperate situations are faced down there and makes for great drama.
Also agreeing with Tevinter and Aeonar. Tevinter is almost alien and sounds shocking with magisters walking their leashed "pets" and cutting down slaves in the street just for their blood. Aeonar because when you combine maleficarum, apostates and Chantry deviants where a ruthless massacre occurred and the Veil is thinned... something exciting is bound to happen ![]()

Tevinter & Orlais!

I find all places fascinating, because the game is more atmosphere heavy and inspired by history, instead of being immature, childish etc, like fable, kingdom of amalur and many many more, where the world is like copy-pasted from some fairy tale.
With that being said, for no particular reason i just would love to visit Nevarra and Val Royaux. Those two places are currently my urge to discover.

Tevinter Imperium and it ain't even close for me. That place and the way their society sounds completely turns Thedas on their head. It has so much history and their influence is felt everywhere. I'd argue they're the most important country in Thedas from a historical perspective as they influenced much of what we see in current Thedas.

I agree and it is my third choice if i remove Nevarra and the city of Val Royaux. But Tevinter i am interested in, because historically it is well known what happens, but in the present i do not know very much of what is going on.
This is an interesting debate, but i answer to what i love to see as a player, but if i was part of the world and was deadly skilled, like the protagonists, i would love to live in Antiva. Gotta love the atmosphere there. Fun, parties and dangerous in the same time.

IMHO, in whichever Dragon Age game we go to the Black City, it will be the last in the series. That will wrap up the central mystery of the game.
That's assuming it hasn't already been planned for a sequel which we'll never get to, because the game series ends up being cancelled mid-stream.
As to visits to Arlathan, Tevinter, Kal-Sharok, Par Vollen, who knows ... all could be very interesting, and answer important subsidiary mysteries.

1. Anderfels. Seat of Grey Warden power. This is where the Order started, when Carinus founded the legendary order of the grey wardens in Weisshaupt fortress.
2. Tevinter. Where the great magister lords reside. Lot of history here. Especially in the silent plains, where the first blight ended.
3. Antiva. Mostly because of Arlathan forest, and the Antivan Crows. Badass assassins and a forest that used to house the greatest city of the ancient magical elves, what more can you ask for?
4. The Fade. Unmapped and basically the biggest unknown in the dragon age universe. No one really knows for certain how the Fade came into existence, and I'm sure the answer lies somewhere in the Fade.

In addition to whatever mysteries Thedas offers on its surface and below, I'd also like to travel to the continent that birthed the Qunari ...

We're finally going to see Val Royeaux (well, presumably as we'll be in Orlais and its importance with the Chantry, White Spire, the events of Asunder, the civil war and Empress Celene's allies hold up there).
Qunandar and Par Vollen would be amazing...
"The ancient inhabitants of the island built impressive pyramids. Yet the Qunari have made their own mark here. In Qunandar, the capital and only city of any note, the Qunari have constructed great domes and aqueducts. The size of this city is said to rival Cumberland"
But I think a place that I really would love to visit/the most interesting place in Thedas, would have to be the Tevinter Imperium capital of Minrathous.

Tevinter, Seheron and Par-Vollen for sure. Still sad that we won't see any of this in DAI, Orlais is not much to my taste as i never liked barocco period of human history.
