I think we're deliberately derailing because nobody wants to think about the possibility of more Kai Leng.

I'm completly willing to accept this explination.

Bodies can spasm after death and he's probably filled with so much Cerberus tech that it would take an age for him to finally sieze up. Mind you, Shepard was brain dead and Cerberus succeeded in bringing them back so I suppose anything is possible in the ME universe

Boo hoo. If he can't take a bit of abuse from a loser like myself, why is he even on the internet?

At least I'm not dismissing all facets of a human being's quality because they have a tattoo of a dolphin on their ankle.

Because he's not on the internet to be abused by losers? Why does he have to put up with a personal attack because 'you're a loser?'

Neither am I. You're point?

When I first played ME3, I noticed that unlike the previous games, the cutscenes no longer reflected your weapon choices.

I was utterly pissed when my Shepard not only acted like a hesitant idiot, but the cut-scene totally ignored the fact that he was armed with a SCORPIAN Pistol, by-by Leng's getaway car...

I never noticed that with Leng on Chronos Station. Soon to be moving a Shep from ME2 into Me3 so I will watch for that now.

Now being able to deliver Leng to Aria. I'd pay good money to see her rip him apart, slowly.

I think Aria would be very generous with you; or were you saying that you would willingly pay for a game patch?

This is purely about the veteran thing. If I'd insulted David, or Seival, or anyone else on this forum that doesn't share the same opinions you do, you wouldn't be so uppity. You might even join in. It's a bit rich that you, one of the most ridiculously principled forumgoers there is, has such a double-standard.

You've claimed--multiple times--that a girl is no longer worth dating or assosciating with once you find out she has a tattoo. That means the entirety of her persona is then meaningless to you, based on something completely trivial. Makes you the wrong person to judge people for "attacks on character."

The only thing that annoys me about kai leng is the thessia bit and his recharging shields. That is so awfully contrived it renders the subsequent failure daft; he was beaten but we were forced to fail anyway. So why bother having it done like that.

Please. As has been demonstrated numerous times, Bioware has all the subtlety of a sledgehammer. If Leng was meant to survive, the camera would zoom in to his face and his eye would open ominously to the sound of "dun-dun-DUUUN!"

... so in other words he's the Chicken from Family Guy.

It's more than that. You attacked a guy because you thought his opinion on a fictional character was ridiculous, and you brought up his past in a means to take him down. Whether or not he's a Veteran isn't the point of my defense. The point is that you're essentially insulting him personally because he posits an opinion that in no way affected you (which I'm going to remain neutral on the nature of).

You've claimed--multiple times--that a girl is no longer worth dating or assosciating with once you find out she has a tattoo. I've never said that a girl isn't worth dating or associating with because she has a tattoo. Personally, she isn't worth dating to me, because she's not attractive to me. I don't know about you, but I don't care about a girl's personality if she doesn't have the physics to interest me in the first place. They say not to judge a book by its cover right? Well, I don't judge them as a person, I judge them as a possible romantic interest. And if I'm not interested on the outside, why should I bother becoming (romantically) interested on the inside? I don't disassociate myself from them - that's your statement, not mine. To completely disregard them, as you suggest I do, is haughty on a level that I have yet to see. And regardless of the whole diatribe, calling me out on my opinion of girls with tattoo's isn't a defence for your own actions, which were a blatant and unwarranted insult to my friend, and a terrible misrepresentation of my own opinions, thoughts, and actions.

If anything, he watched Shepard leave as he was bleeding out. The end.

And yeah, I agree with CrutchCricket: if BioWare wanted you to think he survived, you would have known.

I'd rather not. I don't know where the 'right to insult each other' thing came up. I just think it's pretty ridiculous.

Zazz doesn't want others to insult one singular character. He pointed out someone who does this as if by instinct. That someone, most probable that someone anyway, jumped in and threw an insult back.  Zazz found this childish, which it was and still is. It's childish to get angry over video game characters, and take attacks against a romance personally, thought the same could be said of Liara being insulted, however, I have never seen Zazz take this personally to such an extent, so I won't comment. Your debating back and forth over the right to comment on others favorite characters negatively stemmed from this. That's what this entire conversation is about. Blah, Liara. Blah, tattoos. Blah your tastes. All in all, this entire conversation was a little dumb, and needed none of the reactions from anyone involved. These are video game characters. From a video game. A video game with C writting at best. And it's in a thread over a glitch about a useless character. This is the very definition of pointless bickering and wasted time.

Serious, dream, the game sucks storywise and most of the characters are one dimensional. Please explain to me why people fight over it, as well as why I like to play it.

It's all about dos waifu/husbando fantasies.

I suppose some people like the cheesey cheesey lines in a detached manner, and the shooty aspects actually improved significantly for the finale.

Do you realize how many beloved pulpy space operas can be described like this?
