With Season 6 coming up, it was only fitting that this series get it's own discussion thread. I'm still disappointed that the series was cancelled after Disney got the rights to Star Wars. Disney should have a least given LucasFilm more time to wrap up the series. There are two arcs in particular that won't see the light of day because of Disney: Matt Michnovetz's clone arc (from the same guy that wrote the Umbaran arc) and the finale to Maul's storyline, which is now being turned into a comic series.

Still, it's good that we're getting at least four arcs for our trouble. And the last season looks exceptional. I especially love the preview for the Yoda/Sifo-Dyas arc as well as the preview for the Order 66 arc. The fact that the Clovis arc is going to include Embo is also a plus. It's also good that we're getting an arc that explores the fates of Cad Bane, Boba Fett, and Aurra Sing. Anything with Cad Bane is bound to be good.

OK, so other things we know so far:

-We will see Yoda on Kashyyyk in a particular arc, although whether it's the same arc as the Sifo-Dyas one isn't clear.

-Dave Filoni implied that the final season might appear on television (I think perhaps on Disney XD).

-It'll appear in early 2014 (though in which format isn't known).

-There MAY be a Windu/Valorum two-parter.

Overall, the "bonus content" is shaping up to be pretty interesting. I'm especially glad we're getting two arcs that deal with the clones. Clones are just so ****ing awesome.

They're a way of helping people identify who's shooting at who. Nothing more.

This is the "kid's show" with all the battles, political intrigue, morality and characterisation of GOT but to a lesser extent, right? (Minus the ****** and **** of course.)

I'll watch it some day.

But it is not this day!

I can give you links to specific episodes that are some of the best in the series, like "Rookies" or "Landing at Point Rain" or the entire Umbaran four-parter.

Perhaps the Mandalore four-parter.

Well... It's hard to explain. I just hold the Star Wars saga in such a high regard. This show seems to occasionally walk the line between exploring the nooks & crannys of the SW universe and spoofing itself.

Season 2 was when the series improved dramatically. Some of the best characters introduced are from Season 2, like Embo.

I've only seen a few episodes of this but they were pretty good. How many seasons are there?

Right now, five seasons. There's going to be bonus content (basically season 6), although it's not clear exactly which format it'll be in.

While I would recommend watch all five seasons, you can watch individual episode arcs if you don't have the time, such as the Citadel arc or the Umbaran arc.

Honestly I still consider this series and the Miniseries from 2003 to be the finest Star Wars stuff to come out. It's a damn shame it's coming to an end.

You can watch all the episodes on Youtube.

You can also get Seasons 1 - 5 on DVD right here. However, it won't include the "bonus content."

I think you'll really enjoy the Clones. Each one of them has a distinct and engaging personality. One of the best things about TCW.

It's worth noting that several of these episodes -- "An Old Friend," "The Rise of Clovis," and "Crisis at the Heart" -- were mentioned in Star Wars Insider[/i] #134 as being part of Season Five, so there's reason to believe that this report is accurate.

The fact Fives is getting 4 episodes makes me really happy.
He's one of the best characters on the show, and has had some of the shows best story arcs/episodes.

I watched S4E7 yesterday. It was a good one. The Badass Jedi General took the place of General Skywalker and good night-battle in this episode.

I suggest watching the entire arc. It's pretty damn good. And yeah, General Krell is pretty awesome.

I would also suggest watching the Geonosis four-parter. One of the best arcs in the entire series. They're episodes 5 - 8 of Season 2, in case you want to watch them (which I recommend you should).

Thanks. I've watched the whole seasons 1,2 and 3. Season 2 was the most awesome season. Season 3 has its good episodes too.
