I always tend to play Circle Tower first and then go through Orzammar, after picking up Shale. Once I'm finished with that, I usually go to the Brecilian Forest and finally, I grab the ashes and head to Redcliffe.
Sometimes, however, I like to change the last three up. They are all fairly easy at any level, in my opinion, as long as you have Wynne with you.
Should I do Orzammar early?

That sounds like a fine plan which I shall adapt for my playthrough, thanks Lasseda

Grabbing the Ahses before Redcliffe is a good idea. I never really though of it. It would save on jumping back and forth. I think I'll defintiely be doing that next game.

First two playthroughs started with the Broken Circle and DLC, various stuff in the middle, and ended with Redcliffe and then the Deep Roads.
This playthrough I started by going to Denerim to get the Archivist's Sash and kill not-Weylon, and then went to the Dalish Camp, the "lobby" of the Circle Tower, and Orzammar as far as first entry into Dust Town...and then went back and finished up Lothering. I'll probably do Orzammar next up to the point of adding Oghren, and then leave and go do the Circle (with Oghren in the party just for grins) and then the Urn. Also mixed it up a little - PC is a Dalish elf mage, AW, wielding a plain 2H sword while waiting for Starfang.
@Auridesion: I used Oghren very little on the first playthrough, since I didn't need another Sten, and felt he was a real handicap in the fights the way he'd been specced. I used the respec mod on second playthrough and made him a DW and there was much rejoicing.
In the end, there's (many) more than one way to do it, and That's Good.

If you come prepared to give Oghren some good equipment, it helps a lot in buffing him for the Anvil of the Void. I gave him Faith's Edge axe with a master hale rune on it (had to do the Urn quest first to get the axe) and put Rock Knocker helmet on him and it made a big difference in how often I needed to babysit/heal him for those big fights.
