For reference the CE of DA:O came with:

  • A tin case
  • Game disk
  • Bonus dvd including:
  • A "making of" documentary
  • Soundtrack
  • Trailers
  • Wallpaper
  • Concept Art Montage
  • Strategy tips
  • Cloth map
  • Code for 'The Stone Prisoner' dlc
  • Code for 'The Blood Dragon Armor' dlc
  • Items for WAR online
  • 3 items - 'Grimoire of the Frozen Waste', 'Bergen's Honour', 'Final Reason'

The SE of DA2 came with:

  • Soundtrack
  • 'The Exiled Prince' dlc
  • The 'Black Emporium' dlc
  • In-game armory with multiple weapons
  • 5 premium content items - 'Apostate's Courage', 'Seeker's Bulwark', 'Adder of Antiva', 'Might of Sten', 'Ring of Resiliece'

To be honest I think a CE should have a sturdier case with additional items for collectors such as the 'cloth map' or making of and such with no extra in-game items. I think if there are in-game items which are ready to be distributed at launch, they should be ncluded in the base game.

I feel the same about the in-game content, I'd much rather evryone have the same items when the game begins, regardless of how much you pay for it.
Outside the game however, I'd love to have a big map of Thedas so I can take it all in at once and get my head around where everything is. I also love any art that the devs create, so I wouldn't mind some of that to be included too- characters or locations, I don't mind.:) A nice, sturdy cover wouldn't be too bad either.

I really do like the high quality MAPs. Either Cloth or that clothy canvas. I have the better maps from various games over the years framed and hanging in my office.

I tweeted to Dragon Age about a Morrigan statue about a month ago. They said they would keep it in mind. I would love to have Morrigan on my gameshelf.

If they do a Morrigan statue I'd prefer her in her DAO look.

My opinion is quite the opposite. In game content, especially narrative content, is the only reason I'd buy a CE nowadays, unless it's like DA2 and it cost the same just with a pre-order. Nick knacks and doo dads aren't my tho.g though.

*edit: Though a making of DVD sounds cool.

Agreed. All those little things like maps and iron on patches and statues just ends up being stuff that takes up space  in my apartment. I'd much rather have extra content (and if I'm paying extra for it, then I want it to be exclusive). The bonus dvd is nice, though. Especially if it fits in the case.

Me too. I am not sure if I like the new look of Morrigan but that could change.

Physical stuff is only good if you're not importing. :(

So, I'll take the digital soundtrack/artbook and bonus items in game.

I feel the same way about in-game content. Absolutely no exclusive in-game content for the Collector's Edition please. I'd love some substantial physical content, though. Soundtrack. A high quality map. An art book. Perhaps a statue or other collectable item.

I liked the ME3 Collector's Edition. It was only $20 more but it had nice DLC, an awesome case and some cool goodies.

Hmm, I'd like the art book, the cloth maps, DLC goodies and a game guide.

That, but I still want the physical dvd. Also I wouldn't mind a making off dvd, still I can do without.
As for the DLC and bonus items. Well, I'm not really the "dlc kind" I prefer a real expansion more than stuff that should have been there from the beginning. Then again if it comes with a special edition I won't whine about it.

A titanium pocket sized case just big enough to fit the cd in with any given word or phrase engraved on the side.

If they come will something good my Mage can use "in game" I will almost for sure buy it. If its just wee toys and stuff like that I usually won't bother.
