I didn't read any of it for some reason?

Neither did I.

The writer went way overboard. He should have just chopped it down to giving a brief description of what he would have changed regarding plot elements, rather than bothering with lengthy dialogue rewrites and such. The bloated 400 page manuscript he produced would be a chore to read through in its entirety.

'You wrote a 400 page blueprint for nothing, because you're dumb.'

I haven't read everything, but some of his ideas for new side missions are not bad imo (Morinth, Rana,...). And at least one of my Sheps would totally romance Khalisah Al-Jilani :D

I'm going to guess that was probably a jab about saying 400 pages was a chore to read.

If so, I read plenty of books. A few of them have twice as many pages as the bloated script rewrite. The difference is that books actually serve a purpose. They either provide entertainment or useful information. What's the purpose of a 400 page fan rewrite of a video game? There is no useful information to be gleaned from it, no entertainment value, and absolutely no possibility of any of the suggestions being implemented. Hence it being a chore to read.
