What is going to be the canon world state you bring into DAI?

Mine: Female warden married Alistair and became Queen
           Supported Bhelen for King
            Preserved the Anvil
            Cured the werewolf curse entirely
            Saved Isolde and Connor
            Male rogue Hawke, sided with Templars

Also, what kind of Inquisitor do you think would fit best with that world? I'm thinking a female elven mage for mine.

My Surana Warden encouraged a personality hardened Alistair to marry Anora, spared and recruited Loghain, and trusted Morrigan with her ritual. My Hero asked for his people to be given their independence from the Chantry and the templars.

- Circle saved, helped Dagna, let Jowan go free to become Master Levyn
- Bhelen crowned, Anvil spared
- Redcliffe village saved, Connor rescued with aid from Circle
- Werewolf curse ended
- Kolgrim defeated, Dragon Andraste killed

My apostate Hawke protected the mages from Meredith, and left with Merrill at his side. Also, my protagonists were ethnically Antivan (as it's the closest Latino equivalent I could make my characters).

Cured the werewolf curse.
Killed Connor.
Recruited the Templars.
Hardened Alistair and Anora rule, Loghain spared.
Did the dark-ritual.
Spared the Architect.
Followed Morrigan into the eluvian.
DA2:
-- Female rogue Hawke, ruthless/aggressive. Sided with the mages, spared Anders (LI) and Bethany.
-- Also perhaps significant, supported Merril's project.

-- Dwarf noble, female S&S warrior (with Jack from Mass Effect's voice, F yeah)!
-- Harrowmont for king (yayy revenge)! Anvil intact (I've yet to ever destroy it).

I'm often surprised at how many people have a single set of choices that they consider the "right" one for them. I've got many Wardens and several Hawke's. Almost all of them made varying choices based on how I roleplayed them. I fully intend to clean up their respective records in the Keep and import them all.

As for what sort of Inquisitor? Haven't decided about race/class/gender yet. If past performance is an indicator, I'm likely to be a bit of a goody two-shoes who favors talking over conflict and always tries to save everyone.

- Anora and Alistair rule together, Loghain became a Grey Warden
- Loghain killed Archdemon (all other companions lives)
- Warden-Commander defended Vigil's Keep
- Warden-Commander killed Architect
- no DLC

Dragon Age 2:
- main protagonist: Male, Mage, sarcastic/diplomatic personality
- romance: Isabela
- Hawke sent Feynriel and Grace with other mages to Circle, allowed Keran to stay with the templars, sent Feynriel to Tevinter (in Act 2), remained neutral at the start of Act 3 and asked Cullen to spare Alain.
- Aveline, Anders, Varric, Fenris and Isabela were friends (I get them to the right quests and in right combinations), Merrill was rival because she didn't get arulin'holm.
- Carver was rival and became a Grey Warden.
- Hawke defended Kirkwall's Circle of Magi
- no DLC

Rose, Amber, or Kyra Hawke  (Rose=dual wielding rogue/shadow/assassin, Amber=archer, Kyra Force/Elemental Mage.  Both Amber and Kyra are in love with Anders)

All of those Hawkes are smartasses, mixed with diplomatic options. Somehow, I can identify with that. 

-Bethany in the Circle/Carver in the Wardens (not sure which class save I'm using yet)
-Sided with the Mages
-Romanced (friend) with Anders (if I pick Rose, romanced Isabella, Anders remains a friend)
-Let Anders live
-Killed the Arishok, kept Isabella around

-Helped Talls finish her mission

Destroyed the Dragon Cult in Haven, killed their High Dragon, and let word get out the Ashes were there
Let Avernus live and continue his work (with ethical limitations)

Got Alistair to marry Anora, then personally killed Loghain
Performed the Ritual
Stopped the Mother in Awakening with Amarathine and Vigil's Keep (relatively) intact

Tried to be Diplomatic, but lapses into Silly with some friends or if the situation is really FUBAR and sometimes aggressive if family or friends are threatened
Bethany went to the Circle (ended up friends with her)
Got Varric to let Bartand live and not keep a piece of the Lyrium Idol (ended up friends with Varric)
Let Castillon go and got Isabela a ship, which was used to cheese it in the end (ended up friends with her)
Helped Fenris get his revenge but did not kill his sister (ended up friends with him)
Romanced Merrill, helped her with the Eluvian, but did not kill her clan (ended up friends with her)
Got Aveline to remarry (ended up as friends)
Convinced Sebastian to avenge his family and take back his home (ended up as rivals)

DAO (only, at the moment; haven't done Awakening yet and still need to replay DA2)

Female Human Mage/Rogue (modded) Dark Warden

- Killed/drove off all companions
- Picked all non-enemy pockets
- Killed everyone possible throughout the game
- Didn't do "good-only" quests (poisoned noble
- No romance but had fling with Isabella and a desire demon
- Gave Redcliffe false hope by shoring up defenses, then killed all of them with AOE during the night battle. Asked for a reward afterward.
- Sacrificed Isolde to save Eamon; made a deal with the demon to possess Connor later, and sealed it with sex.
- Let Irving be possessed before reporting failed Circle to the templars.
- Appointed Harrowmont, left the Forge with Branka, helped start the dwarven Chantry.
- Defiled Andraste's ashes. Left no one alive.
- Sided with the werewolves after mistreating the elves every way I could.
- Left Cailan's body to the wolves in Ostragar.
- Slew Avernus and let the demon wander free.
- Appointed Anora as queen, resulting in Alistair's execution.
- Refused Morrigan's offer of a ritual and sent her away in a huff.
- Made Loghain a grey warden so he could die instead of my character.
- Stayed with Anora rather than asking for anything else.
- At end of game only Anora and the exit guard were there to talk to me.

I know this isn't anywhere close to Bioware's canon, but enjoyed it nonetheless.

-Saved everyone at Redcliffe, sent that bartender dude to go fight, believe he died

-Freed Eamon NOT using blood magic
-Sent Jowan back to the Circle for judgement while also mentioning how he tried to help
-Sided with Bhelen
-Destroyed the Anvil but asked Caradin to make a crown
-Freed the werewolves, Zathrian obvs is dead
-Allowed Zevran to live
-Romanced Leliana
-Killed Loghain
-Killed the High Dragon
-Killed the Cult of Andraste
-Let Genetivi live so that people could go see the Urn
-Hardened Leliana and Alistair, did everyone's companion quest so Shale knows she is a dwarf, Flemeth was "killed" so on and so forth
-Alistair and Anora rule jointly
-Performed the dark ritual with Morrigan
-I THINK I asked for more freedom for the Alienage.  I THINK.


Awakenings

-Did all the upgrades to the Keep

I wonder why people would enjoy the roleplaying aspect and yet not make differing decisions that reflect that character, thereby making the idea of head canon irrelevant.

Also, could have sworn I saw a thread just like this not so long ago.

I also have many characters and world states I've built over the years. I hope the keep can accomodate multiple world states. I haven't really decided on any 'main' canon myself, but I do tend to like to put the characters and world in what I think is the worst possible shape.

I don't consider it the 100% right story. I have other styles of play sessions that I've done, such as with my pro-Templar Warrior with the spec to boot.  I guess I should say it's the Keep set up I'm going into Inquisition for the first time.  I got into the roleplaying of those characters quite a bit.

It won't remain static on future sessions of Inquisition, that's for sure.  I love to experiment.
