Peace is impossible IIRC unless Tali is both alive and an admiral. It doesn't matter what the other factors are if she doesn't have a vote. If Legion's N7 armor is holographic, it isn't Legion, and peace is impossible then too.

I only put in the ME2 factors, but yes, neither must die or else it's impossible. Saving the admiral and having a Reputation of 4 bars or max is required, but it doesn't matter if you go renegade or paragon during the scenario as long as you have the requirements.

I see I'm going to be playing this game for years, there's so many different options.
If you haven't already done so start from me1 and work your way through.

You definitely should. I started this series with ME2 on PS3 when ME1 was not available on PS3 until the Trilogy release on all platforms which included ME1 as well. At first, I didn't like nor could I get use to it, but then I started it to tolerate the horrible combat and cheesy dialogues and it all went well. There's some things that can only be done from 1 that cannot be done through the Genesis. Like Kirrahe, who does appear in Mass Effect 3, but will not if ME1 was never played or he died.

I would also suggest getting all the other dlc to get the whole experience. Not just for ME3, but for ME2 as well. ME1 get Bring down the Sky dlc.Mrs.Krios07 wrote...
Ok I'm going to get ME1 and start from the beginning. I want to get the dlc Citadel, I heard that was worth the money.

Reading this post, it's striking just how little of that a player could gather from ME3's narrative alone...
Gotta play the whole trilogy to get the whole experience, the full context on these issues. I watched a Krogan burn a human alive and feed a Salarian to Varren not thirty feet from Wrex's throne in Lair of the Shadow Broker. Kinda puts a damper on one's enthusiasm to cure them.
EDIT: Wha- it got bumped to the first page? Did they go through and delete multiple posts? Never mind - summary is unneeded now.

Ah, looks like the mods didn't like me posting that excerpt from ME: Revelation. You can hear dialogue related to it in ME1. Basically, what the excerpt said was that AI was outlawed by the Council before the Morning War (thanks to the universally-accepted prediction that the created would destroy their creators), 99% of the Quarian race was exterminated during the war, and the Geth ignored all hails and killed anyone who entered their space on sight for three centuries after the war, but because they never launched an invasion of the wider galaxy, they're largely ignored as a threat - but they're still pointed at as a reason to forbid development of AI.

When it came to curing the Krogan, at first I wanted to do it for their help. Then I met Eve, and I wanted to romance her. lol She was my favorite.

EDIT: Just got back from IMDB. The character Sigrun reminded me of most was Kasumi, but it turns out her VA actually voiced Morinth.

The Quarians could have got their planet back for free if only they hadn't been so stupid.
Ah well.
