Tuesday is my heaviest class day, starting at 8, then a several hour break, then 5 hours of classes.

Now I could skip two of those classes but I vowed not to skip a class by my own will......so I basically got like 4 hours of free time inbetween classes. That does allow me time to go buy the game, and get it installed, but I cant play it...because I feel I wont be able to break away...

That will lead to 5 hours of me sitting in one of my favorite classes, then a two hour film class, with my legs freaking out (my foot shakes when I am aware of something that NEEDS doing). My prof will most likely think I am on speed....
My day starts a 8, then ends around 7:45, allowing time for a nap, and eating...I will need energy, I doubt sleep will come to me that day.

Haha it unlocks on Steam for me right after my Tuesday classes; I have one hour of class on Wednesday and all but one of my Thurs/Fri classes are off because professors are at conferences.

Well, as I'm living in Spain i won't be able to get the game till friday, and next monday I have this huge Immunology exam, so I'll be suffering the entire weekend.

Yes I know it's only a day, but it's the principle of the thing. Everybody knows Aussieland is the global videogame ghetto. I feel slighted.

Aside from the fact of being a common curtousey,  I'll be way to sodding busy with the game to even think about being anywhere near the forums until Im finished and bled the game dry for all it's worth.

Finally someone else that questions why anyone would bother jumping on forum when you could be playing game.

Sadly, I opted not to take time off from work even though it woulda been easy to get. Got stuff that just has to get done. Preordered game from GS closest to my work, will pick it up Tues afternoon. Play what I can at night the rest of the week, but have to wait 'till next weekend for marathon playing. Such is life in your 30's...

Nope Tuesday will not be painful for me because my work schedule is Wed-Sat from 9pm-8:00am. So I am off Sunday-Tuesday. So will be able to go to the midnight launch and get my copy but instead of playing it when I get back to my place I will go to bed because if I don't I will spend all night playing it. So will wake up at around 7 or 8 Tuesday morning and play it all freaking day.

you lucky bunch in north America -.- I am living in Spain now and have to wait until the 29th. well, actually the website I bought my game from says the release date is the 28th so I'll probably get it then (It's happened before, same with DA:O  )but I still have to wait two days more than you guys D:<

ah well. Maybe if I can't stand the wait for my CE I'll just download it somewhere and play a bit with one of my secondary sheps :innocent: Then when my CE arrives I'll uninstall the 'pirated' version and install the CE

Well I have a chem exam and the power will be off most of the day so it's fairly painful but not to bad.

Us people in UK/Europe have to wait until Friday. Unless i can awesomely get it early or unhappily get it late. Are Play.com reliable to get it on the day or awesome enough to get it to me early?

Play are hit and miss.  Sometimes they can be really good and get things to you a day or two early.  It's happened a few times for me. 

Or they can send you totally the wrong game, days late - I had that happen recently were i'd ordered Left 4 Dead 2 and received Left 4 Dead 1 instead, three days after the friday release date of LFD2 - happy I was not!

Most of the time though, Play have been ok. 


And yes, tuesday will blow - and wednesday and thursday too!!

I'm in the same boat as you mate, however play.com and amazon are your most likely bets for on the day or even pre release date delivery, I'm getting my mum to pick it up from tesco as im not 18 till september

Already told my boss I'm taking a Personal Day.  Which mean I get to turn my phones off.  Oh glorious day . Starbucks in the Morning and afternoon Pizza and Beer. Can't wait for Tuesday.
Of course my girlfriend may get a little jelious and I might , might have to put the controller down and spend time with her in the evening. And she will probably want to watch the Bachlor.

Tuesday is going to be horrible for me.  I'll pick the game up at midnight from my loca gamestop, go home and play for about an hour or so and then go to bed because work pays the bills.  The whole 12 hours I'll be at work will be very painfull.
