I know that it's known to almost everyone who does pay attention to EMS that you need at least 3,100 EMS to actually get the "breath of life" scene at the end of Perfect Destroy. But I've actually experimented with some of the EMS at lower numbers and it seems that the scale could be lowered more which is really frustrating for those who love to experiment with bad endings. This may not be accurate, but from my experience with the lower EMSs this what I've sum'd up.
Note: If you promoted too much in Multiplayer, you probably never have to worry.
EMS scale:
0 - 1750:
- Destroy/Control is only available if you destroyed/saved the Collector base.
- Destroy ONLY will result in Earth's devastation, and the Normandy Crew will not survive.
- Control ONLY will result in Earth's devastation, but the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Squad mates die on the run to the beam.
- Destroy/Control will result in Earth's devastation, and the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Squad mates die on the run to the beam.
- Destory/Control will result in Earth being saved, and the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Squad mates survive the run to the beam.
- Destroy/Control will result in Earth being saved, and the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Synthesis is unlocked.
- Squad mates survive the run to the beam.
- Destroy will result in Earth being saved, and the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Shepard survives Destroy.
- Control will result in Earth being saved, and the Normandy Crew survives.
- Synthesis will result in Earth being saved, and the Normandy Crew will survive.
- Squad mates survive the run to the beam.
