Will DA: I be built for 360/PS3 and scaled up, or built for X1/PS4 and scaled down?

I am incline to agree with this comment, but I would add its holding back the power of the PS4 and XboxOne.

At least, that's what I've been able to gather. It would make sense anyway. Assassin's Creed IV was the same.

That is a silly statement.
I could use a high powered PC today to make a NES game. That woudln't mean that the game was a PC game, or that it was scaled down from PC to be ported to the NES.

Console or PC? Who the heck cares. Why? Because I'm pretty darn sure Bioware and EA need the profits from *all* platforms in order to, well, profit from DAI. Trying to live off the income from one platform alone would likely torpedo Bioware and EA's finances.
Obviously. why would a multiplatform company focus on just one vendor for they're product?

LOL! I don't even know if they started working on dragonage with only the intent of the older consoles inmind :]a if this is the case then they did a 180 and are now developing for the stronger consoles while keeping inmind the older ones. sooo~~~ it's being developed on the pc first x3 ported to the ps4 and xbox1 and then ported to the ps3 and xbox360. If anything different about it it'll only be the graphicss

That's what makes these "PC vs. console" debates a waste of time. Bioware cares for two things — turning out a good product, which in turn generates a profit that can then be plowed back into future game development (among other things).
They don't favor one over the other. Financially, they can't afford to. I'm sure Bioware devs just shake their heads whenever they see such threads pop up. All platforms are important to them, but judging from some of the flame wars that develop, fanboys and fangirls don't always understand that.
It's all about the money. Heck, I wouldn't put it past Bioware to develop content for mobile if they think it'll help generate a new revenue stream.

I don't think Bioware is that bad, I think they are one of the few companies that still care about making a good story for their consumers unlike Activision.Quill74Pen wrote...

Thats justs life its human nature to always get into some sort of conflict with one another . Also the internet multiplies that crazyness . This console generation has already gotten off crazy considering how the fanboys act pretty disgusting over the PS4 ,Xbox One.
OMG BRO THE PS4 HAS GDDR5 RAM!!!!!!!!
NAH BRO THE XBOX ONE HAS ESRAM AND THE CLOUD WOOSH!!!!!!!!!!
all you can do is just sit back watch, troll, and drink a nice , ice cold arizona
I just hope this game will be boss, becaue I am still on the fence if it should be a day one buy
